We stayed here for 4 nights and each night my family grew more and more miserable. The front desk staff people are a joke. They are not helpful and know nothing about anything. We had 1 car and were charged for 2, told the car fee was $25 when it's actually $35, told by staff that we could see the...

Wildsuey, we appreciate you taking the time to provide us with detailed feedback on your stay, but regret that you were not satisfied with your experience. We apologize for the incorrect information you received from the front desk staff. While we have many new team members in that department, it is no excuse for the lack of customer service. We’re...

Stayed 4 nts in June. Live only an hour away in Dana Point so we are Beach people. We felt like we were in Hawaii (been 6x!) From the moment we arrived. The Grounds are Absolutely Gorgeous- tropical , lush, Green. Service is probably their Strongest Suit. Everyone was kind n fun n helpful. That is Rare!!! You don't have...

Really lovely property just down the street from Sea World. It is like a hawaiian paradise on it's own island! Has multiple pools, tennis courts, beautiful beach with fire pits, gorgeous rooms, lush grounds, event rooms, restaurant, watercraft and bicycle rentals. It really is a great get away! We have stayed here at least 7 times over the past 10...

Pros: Family friendly bayside room experience with fire pit for making s'mores on the beach (with your neighbors), shell collecting duck feeding, and sharks and fish in the pond by the Barefoot Grill; awesome view; nice landscaping considering the drought status; tiki fabulous lobby with midcentury look; good service at poolside; pretty spacious studio layout; frig and microwave plus food...

The resort exceeded all our expectations. It was beautiful, service was great, dining was great. Loved the beach access, roasting marshmellows on the beach, gorgeous views. The rooms were great, had several pools to choose from and a nice fitness center. The marina had rental options and we chose a fat cat to ride around the island, very romantic! You...

Loved the location and enjoyed a great Bayside lanai room on the beach! It feels like you've arrived at a tropical paradise when you check in the gorgeous lobby. Friendly staff, great housekeeping services, filled all requests very quickly. Traveled with three kids with bikes that thoroughly enjoyed all the resort had to offer including sailing lessons, and paddle boards...

I had questions about my upcoming trip to San Diego and was helped by Efren Rodriguez. He was very helpful and reminded us of how great a resort Paradise Point is! We have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed!

The pros: convenient location for SeaWorld, lush landscaping, family friendly, attractive in a retro kind of way. The cons: numerous, but basically you'll be nickeled and dimed to death and it's a horrible value for the money. We had three rooms, including a $750/bayside bungalow, but the last guests' cigarette butts were scattered all over the front patio. We ordered...

Just checked into this hotel. Booked a "garden room" on the basis of the pictures on the hotel website supposedly showing a typical garden room with doors opening on to a grass lawn. Nice place to sit around between trips to the beach. Instead found myself in a dark room with doors opening on to a two foot wide strip...

We booked this hotel through Virgin holidays so didn't really have any concerns, however we read some of the poor reviews and had second thoughts. We had some communication with the hotel to check on the comments and after reassurances, decided to proceed, The reality is that most rooms are due to be refurbished this year, all hotels have to...
