I only stayed here for one night. It is located in a great location. The parking is extremely small and only fits a handful of cars so i had to park on the streets. The hotel is old and smells but it's clean. It seems to be falling apart.

We tried speaking with the manager who the front desk person told us would be in at 9 am. This was NOT TRUE. The person working the front desk in the morning was also not of good appearance. He had stains (looking like snot) all over his t-shirt, what appeared to be white flakes or dandruff all over his shoulders,...

Pros: location, price Cons: dingy, depressing atmosphere; unpleasant odor; uncomfortable pillows and bed; free parking fills up quickly It's in a great area of San Diego, but there was just something about the hotel that made me hate being there. I felt like the owner's approach was, "You'll stay here because of the price and location, so why bother taking...

Never been more horrified in my life. Can't decide whether the mold on the floor, or the the mold and fungi growing out of the vents is more disgusting. I could rant about this place all day, but in short my lady and I arrived from out of state Friday. We were greeted by a younger lady at the front...

Most positively one of THE WORST hotels I have ever had the misfortune of staying at. DO NOT stay here if you can avoid it! When we got to the hotel, we parked in the small lot that they have behind the hotel before heading out to the harbor. When we got back after dinner, I got a call from...

Do not go to this hotel. It is horrible and filthy. The bathrooms stink and the beds (if you want to call it that) are lumpy. The carpet is disgusting and the owner is a thief. Beware! Stay away. There is no parking also.

Excellent stay overall and I'll be back. Love the location and it was very clean with friendly staff. It in very handy to local attractions as well as close to bars and restaurants. I also like that it was located next to little Italy.

For $200/night, felt like we had been violated. We came for SEAL graduation and The "hotel" was just nasty! It was old and dilapidated and the rooms were just dusty and gross. Our room had no shower curtain, the carpets are old and the bed sheets were questionable. Our bed was literally butted up against the door and the refrigerator...

This is a basic hotel within walking distance to the harbor. The room was clean but there was some water damage to the walls in the bathroom and the blinds need a good dusting. It is a small room but you get what you pay for. The owner and his family are extremely nice and accommodating. We would not hesitate...

There are only two good reasons to stay at this hotel - one is the location and the other is the free parking. The parking lot was very small and it was only one way so if you wanted to back out of the parking spot, you literally had to back out onto Grape St and hope that there were...
