I totally enjoyed my stay here, after 20+ years since I stayed at this Navy Lodge. The rooms were remodeled and clean. Also the the staff were phenomenal, especially Ms. Elsa who went out of her way to ensure my wife and I had a glorious experience.

The hotel was amazing. The rooms were very clean along with the small kitchens. The beds were very comfy and the pillows were great. The rooms were very spacious and you could see a great view of the water and ship yard. The breakfast was small but great for what we needed it for.

This was our first trip to San Diego to visit our son. The location was excellent and the staff was so helpful. Esperanza took care of us better than we ever could have hope for with our room assignment, parking passes and credentials to come and go from the base. The double queen suite was the perfect size for 3....

We stayed here the first week of January while visiting the San Diego area. Cons - located right next to the shipyard, as a result, one can occasionally hear horns and announcements, even with the well-soundproofed rooms; the train horns, from both the light rail and freight trains, can be heard as well; also, the continental breakfast is pretty skimpy....

They have limited breakfast items that is the only thing I don't like about it. They have roll away beds but they are uncomfortable. Nice rooms they are big enough for at least 5 people. The kitchens are very nice but they are small they can only fit 1 person in there

The lodge meets your expectations for military accommodation. You can hop on the train right outside the gate which is within site and walking distance of the lodge. The station name is Harborside and it is on the blue line. Using this train you can go to the border. Old Town, Gaslamp, and other areas of interest. The one day...

I booked this hotel online and was hesitant because I wasn't sure if it was for military persons only. I didn't see any fields on the website when filling in my info so I went ahead and put in credit card info. When we pulled up to the address is when we saw it was actually on the base and...
