It has everything, and great service too. It probably is in line with other hotels in the area, but it seemed expensive. I never got to try out the poo or the gym, but both seemed very nice. It is conveniently located for meetings in the convention center.

Biggest benefit of this hotel is location. You can walk through Gas Lamp, or to the Convention Center, hop on the trolley system, or walk to the ballpark. The staff was friendly and helpful. Gym was excellent, pool appeared to be clean (didn't use though). Valet parking only, pricey and no self parking at this location. I did find a...

Dear Willstravels_1, I am delighted to hear you had a wonderful stay! Thanks for the review. I wanted to let you know that we are in the midst of our room refresh project (3 floors done as of today!) and now we have a refrigerator available in each of the rooms that have undergone renovation. While I hope you'll be...

I had a great experience in the Gaslamp Hilton in San Diego. The service was excellent. I needed a room with a key as I couldn't use the magnetic card and they gave a me a suite :-) I loved the fact that it wasn't a very large hotel like many others around and felt very familial.

Very nice hotel with very convenient location to Gaslamp Quarter and Convention Center. Nice size. Very friendly service. Staff very accomodating. Room was nice size. Location on the small park was a plus. $15.00 cab ride from the airport. Airport 15 minutes away. My second visit to this hotel. Nicely maintined.

I stayed there for some business meetings, and the meeting rooms were very comfortable, well equipped and we had an ample supply of refreshments and food. On the other hand, I found the hotel rooms a bit noisy. I was first allocated a room in the main building, but this was unfortunately on the 4th floor and just overlooking the...

The lobby is pretty nice. The front desk staff were really nice. The rooms were pretty standard hotel rooms. My issue was the smell. If the drain from the bathtub wasn't closed a bad sewer smell filled the room. If I kept the drain closed and the bathroom door closed then it was less. But still not a great thing.

Dear RovingCOO, Thanks for giving us a review. I really appreciate your kind words about our Front Desk staff. They are really nice and that's because they love what they do! I hope you can come back and visit us again and change "it's ok" to "it's GREAT!!!" Our standard rooms are undergoing a fantastic refresh project right now. All...

At the edge of s. Diego's popular GasLamp District and across the light rail tracks from the Convention Center, it is convenient but lacks quality food and ambience. Fair size rooms but maintenance not up to par in bathroom.

This hotel's location is at the steps of the Gaslamp Qtr district. Not only is the location walking distance to many restaurants and various other venues, it is very clean and quiet. The staff is AWESOME! They are always there to assist you w/ a smile and a hello.

Typical convention center hotel - overpriced and not well maintained, but super convenient. Positive: + My room was very quiet, despite being on the 2nd floor and tram/train tracks running in front of the building. Very little street/Gaslamp revelry noise. + Air-con was silent for me (but a co-worker said hers was loud so your mileage may vary) + Location...

In town for work and stayed a couple of extra days to see San Diego. The weather was perfect and had a great time. The work group booked the hotel, but the meeting planner did a great job with the location. Only a few miles from the airport, used a car service to get to the hotel. I had a...
