Andaz is part of Hyatt hotels but the hotel ambience and service is of a small boutique one. Rooms are totally renewed and very comfortable. Roof garden is an excellent choice for dinning, swimming or just taking a drink. Restaurant menu was short of options but food was of great quality.

I know that the Andaz hotels are meant to be hip and stylish. We found the San Diego version to be a bit too much for our tastes. We found the staff to be friendly and responsive. We were booked into an Andaz Suite and thought it was rather small. It was about the size of a regular hotel room...

The only reason I am giving this hotel a two star rating is because the food and freebies was nice! The property is in a decent downtown location next to many things! Jason was great and I found the housekeeping and room service staff to be quite reasonable. Our room was on the 6th floor, an Andaz Suite. The room...

We are displeased to learn your stay did not meet your expectations and sincerely apologize for the incidents that took place, which are being looked into further. Unfortunately being located in an urban environment there are situations that are beyond control, however we would love...

Stayed 2 nights here in summer. Excellent hotel, ideally located near gas lamp quarter of San Diego downtown. Rooms clean, spacious and well presented. Excellent rooftop pool and bar area, beautiful fire pit on the terrace rooftop also which is cool to sit around at night with a cocktail or 2. Downside of hotel is rip off valet parking but...

Staff, hotel condition, and meeting facilities were very solid. Room was in the small side, but the complementary eats were better than most. I had a 2nd floor room and between the ridiculous amount of noisy homeless people and traffic, I didn't sleep well at all.
