I was not familiar with the Andaz before this trip and stayed there because the location worked well for me. I am very happy that I found it! The staff are all friendly and professional. The hotel has a great energy from the moment you approach in front. I will be staying at an Andaz every chance I get. It...

If location and style are important then Andaz is for your next stay. The rooftop is fantastic and the location is close to shopping in the Gas Lamp, near the water and walking distance to the train. Small rooms but they pack a punch.

Loved this place. Awesome rooftop, great caring staff. Only recommendation would be getting an interior room if you are concerned about noise. The party scene outside of the hotel got to be a little loud for our exterior room on the 3rd floor. The hotel had ear plugs in the room for guests which was a nice touch. The mini...

Had a terric stay at this hotel. It wasn't a "brand name" hotel that I had heard of before so I was a little apprehensive. But in the end I was extremely happy. The room was well appointed with a modern decor. The internet service was pretty speedy. There was a well stocked bar with a variety of snacks and...

Excellent modern and eclectic hotel in the old building of Gaslamp district. Hotel is located at the great location with convenient access to the Convention Center and food, entertainment and shopping. The young staff was very helpful and friendly. There were great touches in the room (e.g. ear plugs, free water and juices) and available driver at the valet service....

One of the best hotels ive been too, its so pretty. Our room had two queen beds and a little bar with complimentary snacks and fridge, it also had bottles that you may purchase like whiskey vodka etc. The beds are super comfortable, even the bathroom was beautiful. I loved the rooftop as well is a must go if you...

Recently stayed at the Andaz for a conference. The rooms are very clean and modern. Hotel staff is very attentive. I forgot a hair brush and had one brought to my room within 5 minutes of calling. They offer complimentary wine in the lobby during the evening which is a really nice tough. The rooftop is stunning morning, afternoon and...

Amazing location, hotel was wonderful- can't beat the rooftop bar/pool. I would 100% stay here again on a return to SD! Plus you get comp water, chips and soda in awesome, clean rooms. It's the little things.

I booked this on a reward night since it is near airport and nightlife since I used uber to save money on rental car. The hotel is high end but nothing special. Check in took forever but was nice enough staff. They provided snacks and drinks, some for free, others expensive inside room. I wished the room was cleaner, wished...

Not too bad - rooms were nicely equipped and up to date. Probably one of the better options in San Diego. It is in a very busy area with MANY bars and restaurants with therefore much street noise and crowds. The pool is nice but turns into a loud bar at night - to be avoided if you want a...
