I was in room 226 which took a while to find as there are no directions once you emerge from the lift. Room was dated although clean. Good points: fridge, microwave, coffee/tea maker and safe. The smell of mould from the bathroom sink (which wasn't in the bathroom but next to the bed) was dreadful, so had to smother the...

The room was clean and well maintained. There was a networking function on the floor that we stayed, and didn't hear it all all. The hotel was very helpful in getting us back and forth to base for my son's graduation. Jose was one of our drivers, and he was amazing, friendly and courteous. He always had a smile on...

Porto Vista is well located in a great, central area of San Diego. The staff is helpful and friendly. The on-site restaurant/bar is good, with a killer view of the bay. There's a rooftop bar which wasn't open the evenings I was staying there, but can imagine it would be a great place to hang on a summer night.

Booked via PL for 105$US during labor day week end. The hotel offers shuttle service to and from airport for free. However, arriving in mid afternoon, I called and was informed the wait would be about 45 minutes to get a shuttle and they suggested to use Uber. For less than 10$ and 10 minutes later, I was there. The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of little Italy in San Diego. The ease of the in & out valet with little wait was an appreciated extra. Go for the upgrade on the balcony! Purely refreshing stepping out & seeing the bay. Roof top sunsets amazing.

Our room was 403. It was a large king room with a small balcony. The bed was very comfortable. We had a small frig and a microwave and coffee maker. The staff was helpful and friendly.
