This is a giant hotel down near the harbor and next to the convention center. We were there for baseball and the hotel is well within walking distance from Petco Park, and by extension, Gaslamp District. Since the hotel is so large, it can be somewhat confusing to find things like the fitness area...that was in the opposite tower from...

The hotel is a large business/tourist oriented hotel. The hotel is centrally located near both the harbor and things like the Aircraft Carrier. Also just out the back is a nice little village type shopping area on the Marina so you can get a snack, drink, or ice cream at the Ben and Jerry's. It's near a number of restaurants...

Room was fine, nothing to complain about. Precisely what you expect for this type of hotel. I stayed there for a conference. At least the place was in the city and we could go out for food. The shopping area between the hotel and the see is nice.

Now I am motivated to write Hyatt a good review because I just stayed in another hotel in the same area with a very different experience last week. I had requested a quiet room during my stay and almost had my booking canceled online by mistake; Maxwell (the assistant room...

We usually don't go for high rise, chain hotels, but since we didn't have our dogs with us, and wanted to be downtown near the "action," and got a pretty good deal on a king room so we pulled the trigger. We were on the 21st floor with a great view of the bay and the location was great! That...

Nice hotel, well maintained, very busy with conferences. Great adult pool! Several issues: 1. Almost always at least one of the 2 pools is closed for an event 2. There was at least one occasion where they did bot provide poolside service due to an event IE food and beverage 3. The service in the breakfast buffet was terrible. We...

The staff and service at this hotel was incredible. Here for a conference of about 300, next to a conference of thousands. The hotel was packed, and the staff took good care of everyone. Room comfortable and well furnished. Only complaint was the noise in the room of the facilities. When the neighbors would flush their toilets, it was very...
