Ideal location within walking distance of old town which we did twice.Helpful and pleasant staff. Close to shopping malls and ideal if your flying back from San Diego. Management allowed us to check out later as we had a late flight back to the UK. Would stay again

The hotel and staff are kid (all ages) friendly. The staff are courteous, professional and helpful. The hotel has a cool vibe - beach, art deco and retro. The pool and hot tub are excellent after a long day of sight seeing. There are plenty of pool floats etc for kids of all ages and sizes. The rooms are clean...

Kings Inn is a fun, low-cost hotel. The pool area is great. I felt like I was at a resort in the 50's with the retro rooms. The walls are thin so expect to hear your neighbors. We had nice fluffy towels the first night but then we received old thin towels. Lots of parking, even when we returned late...

Overall the hotel served our needs. Our room was on the first floor close to parking. The pool was just steps away. There were restaurants on site. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean and spacious. The bathroom area, however, was very tight and directly at the entrance to the room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Just spent 4 days on a business trip hoping for good rates and a comfortable stay. I was pleasantly surprised to find a staff which smiled, were helpful and my room kept spotless. The Waffle House is a 4 Star. Throwback to the 70's with good food.

Everything was good. Both restaurants on site are very good. Will visit them again when in San Diego even if I am not staying at the hotel. The pool area was very nice. Love the tropical grounds. Rooms were clean.

The staff was very helpful, gave us some great events to go see. Even had some tips for discount tickets to Sea World. The room was clean and inviting, the hot water never ran out and it was quiet. The staff was kind and helpful, even had extra towels and pillows waiting for us at our kids request of more...

I was really pleased with the room and the service at Kings Inn. There is a Waffle house in the complex, and you are a short drive from nice spots like Mission Beach or Seaworld. The rooms are modern and well kept.

Rooms are updated, but the outside still has that '70's funky charm. The front desk was very nice and helpful. And the bed was SO comfy, I slept through the entire night without waking up. Close to Trader Joe's and Ralph's and what's even better is that it is close to Stone Brewing Company.

Clean updated large room, close to everything. Front desk staff were friendly. We stayed on the second floor, entrance via lobby stairs and it was so easy getting to the room. Plus, our room had a balcony that looked over the parking lot. we didn't really use it, but it was somewhat private and a nice option.
