We chose this at random but we loved the location. Little Italy was right there and we could walk to Maritime Museum if we had more days in town. We did walk to the Gaslamp District which was a bit of a hike but doable. I was disappointed in the lack of soundproofing considering the hotel's proximity to the freeway...

Comfortable hotel, with the amenities found at all Doubletrees. Modern lobby design. Incredible location on the edge of Little Italy with easy walking to all sorts of incredible eateries. Saturday morning Farmer's Market right outside the back door. Free shuttle to & from the airport. Great San Diego 'city' location.

We had a special event to attend in San Diego, and the trpi was planned around same. Approximately a month before my stay I reserved a suite, specifically one with a balcony, partially why I selected this hotel in preference to a couple of others. I also called to confirm the reservation a couple of days before my check-in. On...

This facility is located nicely between Little Italy, the waterfront and downtown and the Gas Lamp district. Much quieter than the hotels on the main streets. Very friendly and helpful staff, airport shuttle and great views from most rooms.

Well treated at check in and by pool staff. Rooms are more than adequate. View is average but representative of down town location. Buffet was ready and staff was helpful. Lunch and dinner was served as group, and food quality was good and rooms comfortable.

I love being just a few blocks from Little Italy and have stayed at this hotel probably 20 times or more. Nice views of the water from the west side of the hotel and watching jets from the north side.

Great attentive staff and the facility was clean and well maintained. The Doubletree Brand is always at the top of customer satisfaction and this location is no exception. I would recommend to any business traveler.

I have Hilton Diamond status and checked in online with Hilton's recent check in process. When I arrived at the hotel at 5 pm, I was told that the room I selected (on the top floor) was "undergoing some work" and I was offered a room facing the freeway. I am a light sleeper, and need a hotel room away...

Good comfortable hotel near little Italy, the airport and downtown. The rooms are nice, nothing special. No fridge, no in room safe. Called for a fridge to be brought to my room and I'm still waiting. The fridge was never delivered, never heard back from them. Parking is $25 per night but be very careful driving up the ramp, it...
