I stayed in the Bristol Hotel for 9 nights while attending conferences in the Westgate Hotel nearby. The price and the mostly positive reviews convinced me to pick this hotel. I did find the location convenient, the rooms large and clean, and the staff friendly. I did not hear any construction noise as one reviewer cautioned. As another reviewer had...

The hotel has very friendly staff, good price, and the decor is very nice in the room. good location. The parts that the maids clean--is clear. Tub, sink etc, But the walls and grout on floor in bathroom is NOT CLEAN. really takes a way from the place to be in a bathroom with dirty walls. The ceiling is weird...

Pro's: - Friendly , welcoming staff. Honestly, everyone we came across was lovely and kind. If I were hotel management, I would be very proud of the staff representing the hotel. -Location. It's a 15 minute walk from the bustling seaport and attractions like the port restaurants, USS Midway museum and Coronado ferry. It's also located right on the green...

We have stayed at the Bristol before and had good experiences. Indeed, when we got there, things started out alright. The room was newly refreshed in bright colors. The bathroom was well-lit (which is always appreciated). We settled in comfortably. Everything was fine when we woke up Christmas morning, but Monday and Tuesday mornings were another story. Starting at 7:45am...

Centrally located in the Gas Lamp district, at the junction with Broadway and First, the hotel is well located to explore downtown San Diego, Seaport Village and the Maritime Museum, all within walking distance. Horton Plaza provides shopping opportunities just across the road. In the evening numerous restaurants, bars and clubs are all within a short walk. Balboa Park and...

Location-We were looking for a hotel that was close to many of the area attractions- mainly the nightlight of the Gaslamp District. This location was in a perfect location-only a 5-7 minute walk to the action. This was also a good location to walk from to catch the train to Old Town-only a 10 minute walk to the station. Once...

Very central location if this basic middle class hotel. Clean and large room but very limited services and facilities. If any. No breakfast or restaurant but with the central location alternatives in the surrounding blocks are plenty.
