This hotel is beautiful and has a great location. Food prices and mini bar weren't bad either. My girlfriend and I were able to walk downtown in less than 10 minutes. Parking is steep over night but it is just about everywhere downtown.

The location is good, really close to the Gaslamp District. The price was one of the best we've found in downtown San Diego. The room was clean and had a good size, the staff was also friendly. Valet was expensive compared to other cities, but when you see the prices around that area it's actually in the range.

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel in May 2013. It is a very pleasant hotel with friendly and helpful staff. It is very well located for exploring the city by foot, in particular, close to the Gaslamp District.

We booked in at the Bristol Hotel for a whole week to be at a conference. It's a 10-15 min walk to the convention centre but that was no problem. Otherwise it's very well situated for the Gaslamp District and the plethora of eating places on offer. It's only 15 minutes to the airport as well. The staff (esp. in... More

We checked in around 10PM Friday night, the staff was responsive and welcoming. The valet price is what it is and it could have been worse. Our room was clean and perfectly sized for the two of us. The King size bed was the best priced around and worth it. We had our awesome sheets changed both nights, again worth... More

The Bristol Hotel was perfect for our night away - very friendly and accommodating staff, inviting and comfortable lobby, and a charming and spacious room. We booked a deluxe room and requested a room on a high floor with a view which we got. It was lovely, and worth the extra money for a special occasion. We saw a standard... More

The business that employs me makes all my travel arrangements. Consequently, I never know what I can expect when I arrive at a hotel. Needless to say, I was (and remain) very impressed by the Bristol Hotel. I believe it is considered a "boutique" hotel, which from my experience find is generally better than the "name-brands" . My room was... More

Great place to stay. My wife and I stayed for 7 days, ate most nights in the restaurant as it was half price for guests, and found Eric (our waiter) to be fantastic.
