I had already paid for this room before hand so I wouldn't have any problems. When I got there I was put in room #218 right next door to a family with loud, rude, rambunctious kids in it. I called Vanessa, the front desk clerk, to tell her and ask for another room. She told me if I didn't like... More

Bay Inn & Suites is a budget motel. Yet even it is a motel my experience was great! Staff was very nice and accommodating. All wake up calls I had went through. I stayed total of 4 nights and I had a splendid experience. Room was clean and the value for the price is great. I feel I am home... More

When I first read the reviews I was very iffy but when we got there the guy at the front desk was very kind and patient with my family. The hotel was nice and clean and we also didn't see any roaches (I even checked). BEST LOCATION, everything was close by; the beach, Old Town, Balboa Park, Gaslamp. The Wifi... More

Roaches. Need I say more? Yes? Ok, I will! If you don't want roaches traveling home with you, stay away. My dad was nice enough to try and book a room for us, and when we got there, we hoped it would be better on the inside than it was on the outside. (Shady area, strip bar across the street,... More

The bed is comfortable, the small room is just ok. Nothing outstanding but nothing terrible to report. The bathroom is really disappointing. The room is worth the $40 they charged me for the week days but not the $80 it will cost on week ends. The worst is by far their Wi-Fi. Terribly slow connection and every content image or... More

The hotel is pretty decent. It's in a great side of town where you can easily access many of the major locations you want to see. Our trip was a last minute spontaneous one, so this was a very convenient choice. It's not one that I would choose to stay in again, but nonetheless, you get what you pay for.

A lot of mixed reviews on this place, but I decided to give it a try nonetheless. They had us in the far back where they were doing painting and odds and ends type work, so we had to pass by all of this happening in order to get to our room. For a supposedly renovated room, this was awful.... More

If we'd driven by this place beforehand, we wouldn't have considered it. Though it's close to many spots in town and the airport, it's also surrounded by strip clubs, massage parlors and bond shops. It used to be twice as large, but the other side is now a 'business incubator', with little offices (and a massage parlor) in the old... More

Free breakfast is not an amenity they offer, at check in I was told that they charged the night on my boss card when they said they wouldn't, so they put a hold on my card, wish was not released after I left, the keycard wouldn't open my room, nobody offered to help with my luggage, then I had to... We got a good deal on Expedia for $75 a night for a one bed room. We were a little sketchy at first. Being across the street from a strip club doesn't help But we were surprised with the room and staff It's clean. Like alot cleaner then mission valley on hotel circle thats $100 some a night And the... More
