We've stayed here 8 times in the last several years, 2 times a year. We always stay at the waters edge bayview room which are glorious, for the view. The rooms themselves need some serious work. The bathrooms are falling apart. The water pressure stinks, barely hot water. For the total cost of our stay, resort fee, parking, everything, it's...

The hotel is lovely -- great location and delightful staff. However, it is in the flight path of the San Diego airport, which is a bit of an issue. We woke up at 6:30 AM to the sound of aircraft taking off, due to the fact we had left the windows open for the wonderful, cool air! We closed the...

This was our first time at the Dana, and we totally enjoyed ourselves. One person stands out. Kelly our breakfast server. She was helpful and knowledgeable. Kudos to her and The Dana is lucky to have her!!

We escaped to Mission Bay for a few days in search of the sun. The Dana lived up to its reviews for our family. We were very happy with the flexibility of the staff and the quality of the food and reasonable cost of the Firefly. The on site store had some great fast breakfast options with very friendly service....

Let's start by positive. Beautiful property outside. Great Restaurant! Friendly staff! Shuttle to and from Sea World is a big plus, convenient parking. Movies played in the evening by the pool. Now with all that the accommodations are just like in Motel 6 for $24 a night. Smelly and very outdated rooms. Dirty bed sheets. Terrible pillows and blankets. The...

The hotel was beautiful and tastefully decorated. It is in an incredible location that is close to both the beach and Sea World. The restaurant was excellent, I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet. I highly recommend this hotel and hope to come back soon for a pleasure trip.

Having spent several days at this hotel, my wife and I were impressed with every detail. The thing that compelled us to write was how they went out of their way to help us with a near disaster. When we were checking in at the airport for our trip home, we learned that we had left our global entry passes...

Extremely surprised how welcoming all the staff were from John at the front desk to Tim at the pool bar, everyone was extremely congenial. We upgraded to a pool view we had our own courtyard with the patio and a metal gate going into the pool area the Gardens were lovely. Our food at firefly was delicious (tuna), the atmosphere...

We had a nice 5-night family stay in a first floor room with bay access. The hotel staff was really helpful and friendly, specially the breakfast staff at Firefly restaurant. The hotel is a bit old but well kept and the location is beautiful and quiet and close to everything. The resort fee charge is expensive but covers parking and...

First off, we came in around 8 PM from a 2 and a half our drive from Long Beach. My mom (the driver), did not do well with bridges and we had come over the Vincent Thomas Bridge in San Pedro. To make it even worse, she didn't feel comfortable in our rental car. Carly, at the front desk, was...
