The Wagner is the perfect charming retreat. My husband and I visited in the late spring as a mini getaway from the hecticness of city life, and we were delighted by our visit. When you walk into the reception area there is a brightness and airyness that was immediately welcoming. The inn's historic charm was complemented by a contemporary but...

Authentic & Original - a piece of our History This location was recommended to us by another couple who frequently vacation and relax in Cape Cod. Their advice was: If you want a quiet place of thought, reflection and romance, you can’t’ go wrong. The staff and the other guests are kind, warm and fun. There is a magic to...

We stayed in The Cottage and it was rustic but very charming and beautiful. It had 5 bedrooms and each room a little different from the other in a special, neat way! The amenities were plentiful with a large kitchen and dining room. The linens were soft and comfy as well as fluffy towels...always a plus. The grounds were awesome...

Please see email attached and submitted to guest services. Comments also as follows: "Some thoughts I feel you should know ... My wife Suzette and I recently completed a three night stay at "The Wagner" and could not have been more pleased. Our hostesses , Karen and Christina , were so pleasant and welcoming I soon felt as if I...

Booked for two nights in October but checked out after only one night. Mattress in the bedroom sagged badly, slats underneath the bed need to be replaced to ensure a quiet nights sleep, what appeared to be dried blood on the duvet, dead beetle under the bed, threadbare towels and a badly rusted bath around the plug hole. This was...

Brilliant Inn! Was travelling to Wellfleet to have attend my dear friend's birthday celebration. I'm enjoying my stay there, I slept soundly and very comfortable! I hope to visit soon and stay at the same Inn. Thanks to my friend for referring this one to me. They're worthy! <3

I would so like to see this place succeed under its' new management. There is a lot of work to do. The old, small claw foot tubs with shower curtains inside must go. The old linoleum floors must go. My towels were threadbare. There was no hot water in the shower as multiple guests must have all been showering at...

Just returned for the inn. My trip to Wellfleet was to celebrate a dear friend’s wedding therefore, accommodations were hardly a priority. Nonetheless, having opted for this inn which was presented as the top/most convenient option and priced as such, I had matching expectations. I don’t wish to spend an excessive amount of time on this review due the ridiculous...

The Inn is in a good location in Wellfleet which is midway along Cape Cod. But, it seemed understaffed--had to ring the bell many times and wait 10 minutes before someone appeared to check us in. It's an old property, which is fine, but the rooms don't have electrical plugs which accommodate 3-pronged cords (no place to plug in a...

Hello Fern, Your comments are ours. We are distressed by the same things. We have only had a short tenure of ownership and have not had time to address every important thing. All the towels are being replaced in November and the existing will be removed entirely. The electrical wiring and outlet access is a problem that we will solve....

Location wise - you really need a car. We walked into the centre, most of which was alongside a busy road :( I had read the 'rustic', 'charming' 'quirky' comments and after seeing the photos I was expecting something very different from what we actually found ... the room itself was okay (and the bed very clean and comfortable -...
