We camped here in our trailer for 5 nights in the middle of August. We were a little worried because of the bad reviews. We were in the trailer site off of the parking lot in the front of the campground. We had the first site up against the road, across from the dumpster. The first night the wind was...

Stayed there 3 nights (was planning for 7) in August with my wife and 2 kids. After a misunderstanding on the arrival date, I ended up loosing my deposit (3 nights) and pay in full the 3 night we stayed there. No flexibility from the owner, who was not particularly friendly. The site we had was small, close to the...

My family and I spent a week over there. We had a wonderful time in Paine's campground. It was a great experience. It is a family owned camp. Very friendly staff. The bathroom and showers are very clean.

My family stayed here last week for four nights. The campground is well maintained. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. There is a beautiful kettle pond on location for swimming. If you stay here, you will get peace and quiet. There are no planned activities, playground, etc., you get camping. Also, there is no store. You can get ice...

Nothing spectacular, bathrooms are small & pay showers 25 cents for 1 minute. They charge $5 per guest per day, & guests must leave by 9pm, quite ridiculous in my opinion. We were in a trailer so we were right off the parking lot which was adjacent to the road. A lot of noise & lights at night. Oh, and...

While the campground itself is nice the staff and especially the owner make it a very stressful and non-enjoyable experience. when we arrived on our first night we were given all of the rules which are very comprehensive and leave nothing unmentioned. you must be quiet after 10pm and your fire must be out by 12:00. the group i was...

The one area that could be more clear is in the website that states reservation are for only 3 day min. You can still go for a Friday and Saturday night or just a Saturday night, they just can't reserve a spot. The owners may want to review having some type of 1 or 2 night reservation for a portion...

I came here for years with family and with friends and the way they treat people has gotten worse. It is such a shame because the grounds really are lovely and well kept. There is a nice pond on the premisis and you are allowed to burn a campfire unlike many other spots on the outer cape. It's just that...

Very close to loveless kettle pond called the Duck Pond. Very close to the end of the Cape Cod rail trail in Eastham. Easy drive to the famous Beachcomer (good if you're in your 20s) and other ocean beaches. Also within a 10 to 15 minute drive of the movie theater/drive in and welfleet shops and restaurants. Maybe we were...

“Pick a spot near the path to the pond. Make sure before you go that they are going to remain true to their word that you are confirmed for a certain site if you made a special request.”

“If you are looking for a quiet, more secluded site, do not choose F or G in the quiet area. They are located just behind a chain link fence that separates the campground from a private residence.”
