Spent two nights here enjoying the beautifully appointed building and lovely grounds. Innkeepers Lauren and Jason could not be more pleasant and helpful. Short walk to town but peaceful and quiet. Our room (#4) and the adjacent second floor deck overlooked the water. This is...More
The Roanoke Island Inn is the perfect place in a perfect location (in the beautiful little village of Manteo!). The Inn's entire impact is stunning ... a superbly furnished, decorated and equipped building, with exquisite rooms set in the most colorful and tranquil gardens!

Thank you for all your kind words! It was our pleasure having you here and see you again soon.

That is not correct. I should know, because I slice and prepare the fresh fruit every morning. The guest who commented may have been up earlier than it is layed out: 8-11 am. I decide on what fruit that day and I shop for it the day before. Maybe strawberries and blueberries, bananas, apples, oranges, and/ or melons. We serve a variety of fresh fruit, Danish, muffins, bagels, yogurt and about 7-8 varieties of cereals. Instant oatmeal. We do not have cooking facilities so this " continental" self serve breakfast is much more than most.
