We loved everything about the Roanoke Island Inn. The down home hospitality, the beautiful grounds, the pleasant people. I could have stayed there forever. We enjoyed croquet and biking. In addition to the delicious continental breakfast, the Innkeepers pantry was a nice bonus, to grab a snack or drink. Dee and staff were very friendly. We will return !!

We enjoyed our stay here, with wonderful attention from the staff (and extra help during Hurricane Arthur!). Manteo is a great town with fun shops and lots of activities, and the Roanoke Island Inn is close to everything.

The Roanoke Island Inn delights on every level. The staff is friendly without being intrusive, and they make every part of the stay enjoyable. The public spaces are welcoming and gracious, while the room we had was comfortable, relaxing, and beautiful. We were on the garden side, with a bay window and a very comfortable bed. This spacious, clean, and...

Our room was lovely, comfortable and spotless. Dee was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. She was so helpful and went above and beyond the norm. The garden was absolutely beautiful for our friend's wedding. We had a wonderful time and I would love to go back and stay there again.

This was our first trip to the OBX- we were there for a wedding. Decided to stay on Roanoke Island to be in central location. The Roanoke Island Inn was such a nice place to stay- we felt right at home. It was private- more so than the B&Bs we stay in, but lot of amenities, such as the continental...

This inn is an idyllic honeymoon/vacation spot. The front garden area has engraved headstones for one cat and 3 Irish Setters! If they treat their pets like this, you know how they treat their guests. Rooms were spotless & comfortable and every room has a magnificent view of either the water or their wonderful gardens. They even have a gardener...

Very nice stay. Very pretty view and the location is perfect for a short walk to downtown. The grounds were very well kept and the koi fish pond was very relaxing to read by. The Inn staff was very helpful and suggested a number of wonderful things to do that we might have missed if not for their input. The...

I recently stayed at The Roanoke Island Inn in Manteo for the Dare Days Festival. The place that I usually stay was booked; and I am so glad I was able to find The Roanoke Island Inn. From the very beginning, Dee was so accommodating and helpful. I reserved Room # 1 which is a 1st floor room with a...
