This is an adult atmosphere and is so peaceful. The owner has put perfect touches on this guest house. This is a great place to stay while vacationing at the beach. 15 minutes from the beach and hidden off of the beaten path. I stay here every year, twice a year on my vacations. Complete kitchen or a grill outside...

My husband and I stayed two nights in the honeymoon room. This is a huge room, very clean, & super comfortable bed. The window shears allow the morning light to pour in which was great for us to get up and start our sight seeing days. This room is furthest from the thermostat. The room was warmer than keep ours...

I took a solo trip to NC for the first time and so glad I found Noelle's home to stay in. I reserved the room one night before and the room was available with an attached bathroom. My first reaction to Noelle was that she's a beautiful person. She shows such hospitality...welcomes you. She did not ask for any money...

Went for an overnight with by BF to see the Lost Colony on a weeknight...this place was on 1/4 mile from the venue. First of all, this is not modern, it's someone's home and has been for generations, the place is warm and filled with family heirlooms...if looking for ultra modern this isn't for you. Despite the age of the...

Great value on Roanoke Island, near The Lost Colony and Ft. Raleigh historical site. Beautiful, quiet setting on Roanoke Sound. The rooms are cozy and wonderfully appointed and the owner is the most friendly and wonderful proprietor I've ever met!

My husband and I stayed here with friends twice in July 2014 and August 2012. It is a guest house, not a bed and breakfast, so there is no breakfast provided. (Although Noelle does provide coffee, tea, and water.) You are free to use the facilities, including the kitchen, as you need. They have a lovely gazebo, which overlooks the...

First time renting a room in a guest house, usually stay at motels. But found this to be way more relaxing. Located on Roanoke sound, The only sounds you hear is the water slapping against the shore. The owners John and Noelle talk to you like your their friend. The room was ok, but if there was one draw back...

My husband and I were in a budget for our honeymoon... This house is perfect for it! The location is very quiet, waterfront with free kayak use, secluded from the hustle and bustle. If you are looking for a place to relax and just lay back, this is the right place for the right price! Take the Roanoke room...

We stayed at this facility. The sweetest elderly lady ran the place. The place was not clean but we decided to run to the store, pick up cleaning supplies and have a great vacation, after all, the view was great. Then came nighttime with all it's creepy crawlers. I had never, ever, ever, ever, ever, seen so many bugs. The...

“There are no doors on the en suite bathrooms. If you must have a door, choose either the honeymoon suite or room with twin beds, which share a bathroom (with a door) located in the hallway. Home is not good for people who cannot comfortably walk up stairs.”
