Popped in here for a meal with a bunch of guys who live in Kotz. Our group was very well looked after and the food was great. Very homely atmosphere and very much appreciated by everyone. Prime spot right on the shore.

Sure they don't offer daily maid service, but they are conveniently located above a pretty good restaurant with super friendly staff. And ya its expensive, but again, so is everything in this remote village. There's a good sized common space for storing gear, with heat and hot water a plenty. If you do go, be sure to try the sushi.... More

We spent 2 (yes 2! ) nights here since the Hotel was full and we hadn't booked in advance. We spent 230$ per night for a triple room. The room and bathroom were small. We had no housekeeping after the first night, beds were in the same condition we left them and towels were not changed. The only goods things... More

I have stayed in the Hotel in Kotz and this trip it was full, Now I have had this experience of Bayside... Let just say I didn't need it. Three tips: Not to clean. The rooms are freezing! At over $175/night this tiny two bed bedroom with a bathroom about 6 square feet is dirty, loud, and not real friendly of staff. When they "cleaned" my room all they did was pull the dirty sheets up over the bed didn't even tuck them in. The only descent thing about this room is the view from the front. It... More
