We were there end of August for 2 nights and it was a very nice campground with beautiful view on the red rocks. The children enjoyed the pool by the hot weather at day time. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at a tent site for one night and cabin for another night. Both had fire rings/pits. We were even allowed to use main "Grill" section with a lot of tables, as it was very windy for a fire outside. As far as RV... More
We stayed at a tent site for one night and cabin for another night. Both had fire rings/pits. We were even allowed to use main "Grill" section with a lot of tables, as it was very windy for a fire outside. As far as RV sites, I don't recall any extra shade, and can't say anything about fire pits, I am sorry.
