We were just passing through on our way home from holiday , and we were very pleased with everything. Office staff was warm and helpful (Taylor), gave us a good welcome reception. Grounds and facilities clean, even if older. Didn't get to try the spinning tire swings but they looked like great fun. We were warned that the WiFi is... More

We picked this campground based on trip advisor for our visit to Carlsbad Caverns. Based on the reviews I read, it was much better than I thought it was going to be. My only complaint is on behalf of my dogs. The sticker grass need to be removed. The Caverns were incredible. Try Pecos River Cafe for pre Cavern breakfast... More

This was a nice level campground. A plus! Friendly staff and formerly a KOA I believe. This was our choice for Carlsbad and we stayed 2 nights. Quiet as it gets and off the main street enough to not really hear a thing. We'll be back if in the area. wifi connection is very slow however, only email was working.... More

The people at the campground are professional, courteous, helpful, and friendly. We hade a problem with our toad and the maintenance men were nice enough to come and help me put my 4 passenger motorcycle onto the trailer that was made to haul it behind our Class A RV. They didn't have to do this, but they did. It is... More

Got to the park after dark and had to use the restroom facilities. The code they gave us on the paperwork was wrong. Luckily the men's room door was a broken piece of plywood, so I snuck in there. When we called the emergency number, we got the correct bathroom code. Then, no wifi! The sign on claimed that the... More

We came here for business and are staying a couple months. The spots are pretty pricey but they said it's the area. Girls in office are very sweet and helpful. One even texted me pics of a few spots we could choose from. Clean laundry and indoor pool. Park is well manicured with 2 dog runs. Wifi is iffy but... More

This RV park is conveniently located on the edge of Carlsbad and only 20 miles from Carlsbad NP. For an added bonus, you can drive an additional 35 miles down to Guadalupe Mountains NP. It is a short drive into town for supplies at Walmart or one of the other grocery stores. The staff is very friendly and accomodating, and... More

Nice place but the buildings are aging. About time for a remodel. Baths and showers are clean but older. Mid morning shower was great. Plenty of pressure and hot water. RV facilities are good to very good. With 30 and 50 amp service, cable water and sewer at all. Easy to maneuver in with my class C. Lots of pull... More

This isn't the best campsite we've stayed at on our road trip but it is convenient for Carlsbad Caverns and the National park. We weren't given the best spot to pitch our tents- we were right at the front near the entrance and just by the busy, noisy road. That said we were close to the bathrooms so that was... More

We camped here for two nights. We enjoyed their game room, laundry, decently clean pool, and mostly clean bathroom with only a few bugs. They let us pick our own camping spot. Most spots had shade and a picnic table. Many spots had ant hills or holes dug into the ground by some critter.

“If you're looking for a long term space to park your trailer, be persistent and persevere. Also, if possible, come in face to face with management; it makes a good impression. If not possible, call often (even once a day) until something is available. A good attitude always helps!”

“"Campground Wi-fi" is generally an oxymoron. However, Verizon service here was good, so we used our hot spot.”

“If you make a reservation ask for a spot in the back of the park. There the spaces are larger and they have some grass. The road noise should be less. They cost more though.”
