Fantastic - great service - all the staff were really helpful - this really is a hidden gem - a great alternative to staying in the usual mid town NYC experience - instead of visiting les/nolita& soho - stay there and soak up the memories -Amazing roof terrace for views and bring up breakfast or bring your of champagne appreo...

We recently visited the East Houston Hotel for a stay of 3 nights. The location is great; great shopping, great restaurants (kanoyama!) and great bars (Mocha on 2nd Av, great for breakfast) within walking distance. The people at the reception are also very very nice and helpful. Our room (303) wasn't big but very nicely decorated. Good shower (always important) and...

The place is nice, the rooms are clean and well kept and breakfast is decent - actually pretty decent. Staff are very kind and the lobby is quite nice. There are two things We didn't like: the room we stayed in was particularly small, and the noise in the street (Houston Av) was too loud at night - we had...

This hotel is very modern and stylish. Great shower but small rooms. Great view of the empire state building from our room! The rooftop terrace was also fab, but breakfast was basic continental, the bagels were good though. It's easy to get a cab from the hotel and it's right opposite a subway station. If you use the greyline tourist...

My husband and I stayed at Hotel East Houston for 3 nights. We had an awesome time. First off the staff at reception were so lovely. On arrival they were so pleasant and checking in was a breeze. We knew the hotel room would be small - and it was, but this was not a problem for us at all....

I travel and stay in hotels quite often for business, and I must say, this was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever had at a hotel! The hotel has an AWESOME roofdeck for their guests. Highly recommend that if you stay here, grab a bottle of wine and some cups and go upstairs and enjoy- any time of...

New York hotels can often be overpriced and overrated – this one, however, was spot on. Positives: Brilliant location, right neat subway station, clean and comfortable, brilliant roof top, friendly and helpful staff, no frills. Negatives: No fridge in the rooms The rooms here are slightly on the small side but you’ll find this in all New York hotels –...

I hesitate to review this hotel as I want to keep the secret to myself. I don't think I'll be staying at any other hotel when I visit New York again. It's a perfect location with two subway lines just out the door and in walking distance to all the LES has to offer. Are the rooms small? Yes, but...

Stayed for a week in this hotel when visiting my daughter in New York. It was really good value for money and very comfortable. The rooms were a little small on New York standards but very well appointed, with comfortable beds and all the trimmings. The breakfast were delicious and the people really friendly and helpful. One of the best...

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights in early June. I wasn't let down by the good reviews. Reception staff were tremendously friendly and helpful; the location was excellent for exploring the lower side of the island and with a subway 2 minutes walk from the hotel it was also perfect for getting around the rest of Manhattan...
