I stayed here as a solo female traveller for three nights, & it was alright. Kinda sucks that the rooms don't have their own bathrooms, but for the price I can't really complain, & it didn't end up being a problem -- I was always...More

Went online to book at the Larchmont for my semi-annual trip to NYC. Couldn't get the website to pull up and came here to find all these reviews bemoaning the loss. I couldn't agree more! What a wonderful place. Truly, I don't know where I...More

I loved this little hotel with all my heart. My husband and I live in Cambridge MA and this was always our home away from home when we were in the city. The staff were always incredibly kind to us. I stayed in Room 6E1...More

So sorry to hear of the Larchmont Hotel's closing. We've been staying there for 20 years. I miss it already. Our last visit was in May 2017. It has the perfect location in a great neighborhood. The perfect mix of not fussy but accommodating. :-(

    Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.

Hi John! We had a queen room, there was not a cot. However, there was plenty of room for one or an air mattress or something. Michele
