The rooms look like ikea (not really my idea of luxury) but the service at the hotel is great! Great bar scene. I am kind of a clean freak, and I wouldn't rate the bathroom as pristine...the room itself was ok...but the location is excellent.

Stayed here over the 4th of July for a work related performance. The location and quality was outstanding. My only complaint with these type of hotels is the lack of simple amenties like free wireless. This hotel also had no coffee in the rooms. $9 bags of peanuts, but no coffee! Nice hotel, clean and great location. Offer free wireless...

I have now stayed here twice. I don't really have anything bad to say about the hotel but I don't really have anything great, either. I think the lobby is very nice (although the music is a bit loud at times), the rooms are really just fine, nothing spectacular. No bath tub, wifi works ok. I will say that the...

I always think it's difficult to judge reviews unless you know the person who's writing it. I am in my late 30's, married with no children and make a decent living. I enjoy the nicer things in life and am used to 4 star plus hotels. I feared that going to New York that my high standards couldn't be met...

I LOVE this hotel. I've been staying at this hotel sporatically over the past 12 years or so. Not sure if I like it so much because it has a lot of sentimental value to me (my now husband and I stayed there when we got engaged back in September 2000) or because it is a reliable hotel. My office...

This is a lovely hotel with excellent service, nice (small!!) rooms but very noisy. The room was clean and nicely fitted out. Service was very good and the staff very attentive. I had a very noisy radiator in my room which could not be fixed. It's just the way it is! Also, heard a lot of street noise as I...

The lobby and hall ways are very pretty. However, as noted by others who wrote reviews the hotel has a few functional issues. I booked through the hotel website. They asked an approximate time of arrival. Even though I gave them the arrival time, it still took a couple of hours to get the room. Keep this in mind if...

My wife and I stayed at the Lexington W this past week and really enjoyed ourselves, I took the liberty of reading a few of the Tripadvisor reviews before I went and like all hotels there are great reviews and some that mentioned problems they experienced. Keeping this in mind I reached to the Guest Services Talent Coach Ms. Nicole...

After reading some of the reviews, I was skeptical about staying here. My stay was paid for through my credit card points, so I figured I'd give it a try. I was very pleased! The room was small, but not as small as I expected. I had a room with a handicap bathroom, which was great because it was at...

Four of us recently travelled to NYC to celbrate my sister and brother-in-law both turning 60 as well as their anniversary. I contacted David of the whenever/whatever team to assist in making their vacation extra special. He could not have been more friendly or helpful. He upgraded both our rooms, had strawberries and champaign sent to both of our rooms,...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
