In a nutshell this hotel offers the most cost effective stay in Manhattan. The location is great for catching the subway (only a 1 minutes walk from the front door) which means getting to Time Square and downtown is straight forward. Starbucks and local shops are very close by. We had probably the smallest room in the place but it...

Hotel Marrakech is an average, basic hotel. However it was the only one that didnt cost a fortune , in Manhattan, and looked descent in the pictures. So we booked it. The location was quite good. Starbucks cafe, supermarket and the subway are 5 minutes from the hotel. The staff is nice and helpful. The rooms are quite clean and...

It's a smaller hotel in an unusual UWS location but it offers very decent lodging, especially for the money. We paid less than $80 a night for a decent, if not a slightly bit spartan, room. The neighborhood is excellent with numerous restaurants and a subway station seconds from the front door. Beware the long flight of stairs required to...

The hotel you see on the pictures online is absolutely NOT this hotel. Don't be fooled. There is a smell of bad incense, weed, and too much cologne. The lobby looks nice, but there are no elevators just narrow stairwells with old, dirty, and deteriorating carpet. When i reached my room, I cried. The room was TINY. Sitting on the...

This boutique hotel on the Upper West Side gives travelers a real NY experience in great neighborhood with fab restaurants and close to subway. The rooms are small but very clean and designed with a Morroccan style and a great value! There isn't an elevator but the bellman brings the luggage so I didn't mind and john at the front...

the only reason why I decided to stay here was because it was one of the cheapest hotels in New York City I could find. Just by the way it smelled opening the door I knew it was going to be bad, just reeks of stale cigarettes. The people at the front desk were odd but they were willing to...

I booked the Marrakech for a 15 night stay with two girlfriends. We loved it and could not have been happier with the staff, location and our room. Whether on receiption or otherwise they could not have been more helpful. Our rooms were clean and maintained daily and any issue was dealt with promptly. Issues - yes there is a...

It isn't a hotel. It's a hostel with few private rooms. They should state that clearly for guests. Dated. Smelly. It doesn't look good. Things are falling apart. You can stay in a way better real hotel for the same price. NEVER AGAIN.

The room was tiny and HOT. We had asked for a rollaway bed, called to confirm that day "they said Yes" and still no rollaway, which really mattered to us. The staff was friendly, but did not solve our disappointment. The lobby is as pictured, but is on the 2nd floor. The halls, STAIRS and rooms are not as expected...

That was nice to stay here. The location is perfect for knowing NY' nightlife. Staff was friendly and really helpful. Many places around to have a breakfast. Will definitely stay here during my next trip.
