Very basic hotel, but it's location is fantastic. It's a five to ten minute walk to Broadway, very close to Penn and Port authority station and easy to find. We stayed here for 5 nights and had little cause to complain. We didn't have breakfast here as its pricey and there are some fantastic places to eat within five minutes...

This hotel is excellent. Location was good, bed was comfy, clean, and the staff were amazing. In particular Thomas was absolutely incredible; we were able to check in early and got put on the top floor and he even fixed my late night sugar craving with the warm cookies they give to guests. 100% would recommend this hotel

As a loyal Hhonors member, I always try to stay at Hilton properties during business travel. This was a new stay and I will say I was less than impressed. This property is in desperate need of updating, the furniture is worn, the bathroom is subpar, the room was cramped (maybe 8x10) and the "breakfast" was pedestrian at best. The...

This hotel is near Times Square if that's where you need to be. It is old and outdated in appearance and could use some sprucing up. There's a breakfast option which is about $20 per person for a buffet of hot and cold items. Nothing spectacular, but it is very convenient, especially if you go down early enough in the...

We found this hotel to be located in a convenient part of town, close to Penn Station, walking distance to Times Square and Midtown. The hotel staff was friendly and the room was small but adequate. The only issue we had was with room service.

Stayed in this hotel March 8-15, 2017 and the hotel and staff were amazing. Rooms were small which is typical in NYC but the service was outstanding. This hotel was about a 15 min walk to Times Square, and had a great coffee shop at the top of the street. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and the concierge...

Room was very small. TV kept loosing the channel and they could not fix. Room was clean. Bathroom and shower big and clean. Location great for Javitz Center and Penn station. Lobby leaves much to be desired

AWFUL hotel! I can't believe this is a Doubletree property. The rooms are small (even for NYC) and the hallways are narrow. All you hear all night is slamming doors and ice machines. The bathrooms are remodeled but there was only a walk in shower with a door that swings INTO the shower because the bath is so tiny. Water...

3 1/2 Stars. Great Bar Tender and location. Rooms and location was important to me the most. The rest of the staff was pleasant. I did think the breakfast buffet and breakfast menu were weak though. Thanks.

Absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The windows were filthy couldn't even see the sky. The shower leaked so badly it took three towels to mop up. The bed was not a doubletree bed. the tv is on direct TV so the Final Four game on Saturday night was pretty much non existent because it was raining in...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
