I've been in about 20 hotels at this price in Manhattan and this is top 3 for me. Number one in downtown. It is underpriced compared to what you get. In this case the pictures don't lie! Great boutique hotel with a great restaurant and large rooms with comfortable beds. I will definitely return.

We found this to be a very average Hotel. No coffee or tea making facilities in the room, bottles of water are in the room but cost extra. We stayed for 4 nights and our toiletries were never replenished. If you are just after a room in the city this is fine but I'm sure there is better out there...

My then fiance and I reserved the Gild Hall Hotel and another hotel for our wedding guests. Gild Hall Hotel has a cool masculine looking lobby. Felice manages the restaurant, main bar area and upstairs wine bar. We also had a room booked at the hotel, so we decided to gather all the guests for a tea ceremony before the...

Loved walking into this hotel- great vibe, with interesting decor and lots of leather and books. Front desk service was welcoming and efficient. I checked in at 1am after a long day of flight delays and was offered an upgrade and a bottle of water right away. The upgrade put me into a King suite that had me wishing I...

I stayed at Gild Hall for the first time while on business in New York and was pleasantly surprised. It is a business hotel, where the staff make you feel like a honored guest in their home. Rooms were comfortable and roomy by NY standards, particularly when considering price. Surprisingly good restaurant and bar area for small hotel.

Me and my fiends booked for 5 nights in this fantastic hotel and when just arrived we feel a great ambient and very helpful staff at reception. The room maybe wasn't bigger for 4 people but enough and the bathroom a bit small. Everything worked very good. We used the bar a lot and was fabulous, didn't eat. Room service...

We really enjoyed the general look and feel of the hotel. The room itself was very sleek and modern looking, and most importantly comfortable. The only slight downside was the bathroom door which had problems closing, and has an odd translucent surface (other reviews have commented about this). But really, not a big problem. Also, we arrived very late for...

We got a good deal on this place through Hotwire and enjoyed our stay. We were looking for street parking when we pulled into the city, but there was tons of traffic on the small lower Manhattan streets and I got tired of waiting so we valeted. It was $45/24 hour period without in/out privileges. Public transportation (subway) is a...

Located on Gold Street in the heart of the financial district with nearby landmarks such as the 9/11 memorial, Freedom Tower, Brooklyn Bridge and Statue of Liberty, Gild Hall brings a new level of design savvy and service to Manhattan's most historic neighborhood. Designed by Jim Walrod, the unpretentious yet luxurious hotel offers 126 rooms and suites including meeting space for up to 15 people. Our rooms feature oversize leather-tufted headboards and elegant custom-designed furniture, topped with rich flannel throws and mahogany details, some adorned by dramatic chandeliers. Felice Ristorante & Wine Bar offers authentic Tuscan fare complete with one of the best Italian proprietary wines - bottled from Fattoria Sardi Giustiniani, the owner's vineyard in Lucca.
