This is a great choice at an affordable price point The A-C-E subway lines are at the end of the block; 1-2-3 lines are another block east. The High Line three blocks west. Lots of delis/drugstores etc in the neighborhood. The staff is helpful and...More
I've been many times in NY, but I think this is the best place I have ever stayed at. It's not like usual hotel, you feel somewhat at home, but a great home, right in the middle of Meatpacking, few steps from Chelsea Market, the...More
Brilliantly situated near the Subway (the A train goes direct to Howard Beach for JFK Airport in approx 45 Minutes) and for all other destinations. I enjoyed strolling into Manhattan centre from here and also sampled several local good restaurants. Recommended.
This place is clean and tidy, it does a simple yet tasty breakfast and it's decor is extremely tasteful, each room is named and decorated after a Holywood legend. It's location is ideal if you're planning on a couple of nights in the city, numerous...More

Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York
City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighbourhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.

Apologies for late reply. We stayed in a front room on the third floor, and turned the aircon off at night as the room was nice and cool from the room being cooled during the day while we were out. The street noise did not worry us as much as we had expected it too, we both slept well during our week stay!
