Really loved this property. Rooms are tiny but beautifully designed and super modern so you really don’t mind the size. I opted for an upper floor room with view and was so glad I did. It was so nice waking up in the huge bed and using my phone to raise the shades to see such a great view of the city. But even if you didn’t get a room with a view, you could go up to CloudM rooftop bar for an even better view (especially at sunset). The part of the city is decent but also a short walk to the village with lots of great restaurants and shops. Would 100 percent stay here again. It checked all the boxes for me.

Go to CloudM the first night! If you wait you will be sad you won't have as many evenings to enjoy it. Go to the Canteen, hang out, talk to people. This is the friendliest hotel I have been to. The staff make you feel at home and it is so effortless you feel you've been friends for years!

We loved staying here! The location is perfect - right in the heart of the Lower East side. You really feel like you experience local life when dining/drinking around the area. The room was perfect with an amazing view. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar has amazing views! Would 100% stay here again.

The hotel is in an excellent location Little Italy,SOHO,Grenwich Village,West Village are all within a 30 minute walk & its a beautiful walk. The staff are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The Rooftop Bar is perfect. Open only to guests, beautiful views, great cocktails & snacks. Our Room was spacious enough,smart storage & very very comfortable bed. All of the above would bring me back BUT… there is NO privacy in the Bathroom. It’s an opaque glass/plexiglass wall. There is no lock on the door & it does not shut completely.It’s a little concerning & uncomfortable. The shower was also not the best, it didn’t heat up as much as we would’ve liked. We really liked it but would think twice because of the Bathroom issues

I was in the hotel for a week and I can’t remember waiting for anything. Checkin and checkout is a breeze. Being able to chose your view on check-in was a treat. When I first saw the canteen I thought it would only be a touring persons hangout but everyone enjoyed it. It’s a great space to take your first meeting over cofffee before heading out.

Great location, price and subway stations minutes away from the hotel. Whole Foods close by for convenience. Beautiful neighborhoods to explore like Freeman’s alleyway and other cool spots and eating places close by.

Quick check in and out, friendly staff, rooftop bar has amazing view, Great location, and the bed was large and comfy. The room is small but there was great under bed storage so the size was not an issue for us. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

CitizenM was a great stay. The rooms are tight but it's NYC and that's how they are. This one was very functional and although it was a tight space, it was well designed so it didn't feel as small. The bathroom had a cool light that could be controlled from a tablet that was in the room. The black out blinds were lovely. We had an ok view from the 6th floor. By far, the biggest selling point of this hotel is the rooftop bar area. This space was AMAZING and only open to hotel guests so it was not too crowded. We were able to watch the sun set and it has close to 180 degree views of the city. Ample seating, delicious drinks and friendly staff. The check in process was so easy and so was check out. Overall, I would recommend this hotel!

I was a little unsure of how well i’d cope with the smart aspect of a smart hotel but it was really straightforward. There was always someone on the front desk to welcome, say good morning or good night too. That’s reassuring. All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful at all times. The room was bright, very clean and comfortable, and very quiet. I didn’t hear anything outside the room. I also was given a room on a lower floor as requested. My whole stay at CitizenM was a joy.
