First off I am one of IHG's Spire members and travel frequently for business. I decided to take my wife on a pleasure trip this time to enjoy NYC during the holiday time. I have stayed here before and have received nothing short of amazing...More
Unlike so many other hotels in Manhattan, all the rooms at the intercontinental have great views (for rooms above the 7th floor - not sure on lower floors). I have stayed in many of the room types, lately in the corner king which has floor...More

We very much appreciate the five-circle review, Ted! It brings us true pride to learn that you've found our hospitality to be the best option in the Times Square area. We hope to have the chance to welcome you back in the near future!
Hotel reception stuff wasn't friendly at all - felt like I was checking into someone house uninvited for the price they chart per night, could at least give a welcome smile.
Wasn't impressed with centipede in the bathtub when i went to have a shower,...More

Also Known As
Intercontinental New York Times Square Hotel New York City
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

Stay away from the mini bar! Just phone the front desk and ask if they can bring a mini fridge up to the room. If they aren't all being used (we were there during one of the busiest times of the year and they had some to spare) they will send one up. And no, you aren't charged for it.
