I really looked forward to staying here. I love the neighborhood and the place looks awesome. So I was pretty disappointed by the rude and slow service. I actually just checked in today and the check in was rough and probably the worst I have ever experienced. So I called the manager (twice) and it has been two hours without...

I honestly would like to keep this hotel a secret, but I don't think it's possible, so here goes the review :) Gustavo checked us in the hotel after a tiring evening flight, and we immediately felt welcomed. He had plenty of good suggestions for dinner and also offered to have our minibar taken out, if we didn't want the...

I have stayed at The Nolitan numerous times and it is a consistently awesome experience. The manager and staff are friendly and incredibly accommodating, the location is perfect for downtown exploring and shopping, the rooms have a cool New York vibe and the clientele are diverse and interesting. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in NYC!

Nolita (north of Little Italy) is a fabulous neighborhood of small shops, many restaurants, low buildings that all make NYC more quaint and friendly. The Nolitan Hotel helps with the vibe of this neighborhood. The staff we professional and helpful. The room was a big size for NYC standards, and The beautiful bathroom with the most awesome bathrobe I wanted...

Another great stay at the Nolitan. This place has fast become my favourite hotel, great area and the hotel itself is full of friendly people. All of the staff I met were as per previous stays absolutely great. I have to give a special shout out to Gustavo. Gustavo was there the first time we stayed at the hotel, since...

we spent a few nights here recently, visiting our daughter who lives in the area. the staff were incredible! Gustavo in particular went out of his way to make sure we had the kind of room we wanted, including calling us before we left home to make sure we were happy with the arrangements. he continued this very personal approach...

We could not have had a better stay here at the Nolitan. Aside from it's perfect location, the staff was incredible. Jake made us feel right at home and welcome within moments of walking in and exhibited true hospitality and care for the guests. The rooms are also great with really comfortable beds, pillows, and bathrobes. I would definitely recommend...

What an amazing experience at the Nolitan The staff was superb. Super helpful and very accommodating. Jake took care of us from the moment we walked in to the end of our trip. The location was perfect, in walking distance to great brunch/dinner/bar spots and great shopping. Thanks for the amazing stay, will definitely be back!

Saying that on average New York hotels are overpriced versus what you get is am understatement. In most other cities in the world with the same amount of money you will get bigger rooms and a more personal experience. The Nolitan was a welcome exception. The staff was exceptionally friendly, the rooms quite roomy and with decent (and ingenious) storage...

Staying in Nolita

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite being just off of busy Houston Street, Nolita maintains a low-key vibe that makes it a pleasant retreat in the heart of lower Manhattan. Short for “North of Little Italy,” Nolita was once considered to be part of Little Italy. Today, the neighbourhood is popular with young fashionistas popping in and out of the chic independent boutiques that line Mulberry, Mott and Elizabeth Streets. In addition to shopping, there are cozy restaurants and sidewalk cafes serving everything from new-school Italian food to the world-famous cronuts. While small in size (Nolita stretches just a few blocks in each direction), it’s a great neighbourhood to spend an afternoon people watching, window-shopping, and grabbing a bite to eat.
