Located on 5th avenue at 41st street, Andaz 5th Avenue is in the fashionable Bryant Park area of midtown Manhattan directly across the street from the New York Public Library. Guests will enjoy easy access to iconic New York attractions, like Times Square, Grand Central Station, Empire State Building, Herald Square and the Theater District. For a little retail therapy, we are within walking distance to endless shopping along 5th Avenue and are near subways to take you to other neighborhoods and the outer boroughs. The Andaz experience begins the moment you arrive and are greeted by one of our Hosts, who will check you in via handheld PC. Art work can be found throughout the hotel, whether it's 14-foot murals by Carlos Capelan, which glow like fire through the windows on 41st Street, or our ever-changing tbd Art series on the doors to the bar downstairs. But we don't just want you to look at beautiful things - we want to let you live the beautiful life as well. As part of that promise, we offer amenities like free Wi-Fi, a mini-bar stocked with complimentary non-alcoholic drinks and snacks, and 6,400 sq. Ft. Of event space.

This was our fourth time at the Andaz 5th Avenue over MLK weekend. We were in NYC for a Broadway play and what's nice about this hotel and location is that you are walking distance to Times Square but not IN Times Square. The hotel is chic and well appointed what to be

Starting with the perfect location in 5th Avenue, the suberb staff friendless and the remarkable romos make the experience in this Andaz quite above average of any hotel I have had. Highly recomended for visiting the city or just a conveniente location to any point in Manhattan.

Dear ramonfonoll , Thank you so much for the lovely feedback! Located right in Midtown East – not only is it a short walk to a lot of popular NYC attractions (Times Square, Theater District, etc), but also located right near all of the major subway lines so you can go just about anywhere!

I stayed here for a business conference. I was very pleased with the property and the experience. My room was on the top floor with a balcony. It was BEAUTIFUL! We had prepared meals each day which were delicious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed in the Andaz 5th Avenue for a week, and because we are a family with two (grown up) children, we booked a two bedroom suite. They are hard to get in NYC so we were happy the Andaz have them. We were delighted to see the suite had huge windows, and an amazing view:

Dear flyingdutchie, I’m thrilled to hear that you and your family enjoyed our suite! I can understand how busy our lobby must have been leading into New York Fashion Week! I’m so sorry we fell short of your expectations, this is certainly disheartening to hear. I do hope you give us another chance again soon! -Sarah

Staying here three nights (Feb 1-4). Just ho-hum. The "wine hour" in the lobby isn't there unless you track down the front desk staff, who will go unlock the hidden stash and pour a cup. The problem is that she's so busy with checkins you have to bother her to go beg for it.

I had a large suitcase shipped via UPS to the hotel. It was waiting for us in our room when we arrived. No extra charge but I did tip both the front desk and the bellman that delivered the case...after I found out who was on duty when the suitcase arrived.

King beds only- option for pull out sofa in the suites which is in the sitting area. I believe the configurations vary, so best get confirmation from the hotel. Our agent got ours wrong so had to pay for upgrade on arrival. Good luck

What does Bed flicks mean?
Two options come to mind that I can think of, 1. Watching movies on the TV in bed 2. Bed bugs
