My family stayed at Moxy NYC East Village the hippest loft style hotel right across Webster Hall in East Village where the cool people hang at the bar and dine Cathédrale Restaurant. A BIG Shout-out to Alexa Silver and Mac who made our family trip so memorable! Alexa is a ROCK STAR and Mac is so COOL! THANK YOU for making our visit so awesome! I highly recommend to all the wanderers who want to explore something different at the Big Apple! This is our 3rd booking and we plan to book at the Moxy every time we visit NY. We drove from Wash, DC to celebrate my granddaughter's 17th bday dinner at the Cathedrale and also conduct her college tour of NYU! The location cannot be beat, as it is so close to everything; stores, cafes, diners and school. The 2 rooms we booked were perfect; a quad bunk room and a double/double room fit our family of 5! I stayed here recently and had a blast. The staff was amazing, Carmen was very attentive and recommended the best pizza spot in the area called Rebalta and it was soooo good. Would definetely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you again Carmen for going just that little step extra for the guests!

So nice location, cool vibe, reasonable rates but a totally unexpected “amenity charge” of $30 per night with nothing on website about it. This is disappointing and simply a ruse to charge more. Marriott should be up front and say it up front on their website. Rooms are tiny but cool.

I celebrated two special occasions at Moxy East Village this past month: my birthday and my engagement. I must say when I reached out to the GM Elan to make a few pre arrival arrangements he was very responsive and engaging. My arrival and check in were seamless. I am a big Moxy fan and this was by far the most buzzy Moxy I have ever stayed at. All on the property venues were phenomenal. Dinner at the Cathedrale was amazing and a must. The roof top bar had a cool vibe. Thank you Elan & Team for making my birthday and engagement celebration so much more special. Well done!

My stay at the Moxy East Village was complicated in that I arrived late and had to change my reservation. I was so relieved that Carmen had my back and she did it with a smile. She not only accommodated me but she remembered my name and would catch me as I entered the hotel to fill me in on what needed to be done next+. She was the sort of experience hospitality professional that the weary traveler needs on a busy holiday weekend in NYC.

I did not buy the expensive creams - @$300, especially since they used a fan to fast dry an under eye glue-like serum and claimed the results would last for 2 or 3 years. Well, since I was visiting there for the day, do I get a refund in 2 years if it doesn't remove all my wrinkles? I checked. There is NO refund. Buyer beware.

We relocated my daughter to NYC and needed a hotel for longer than we had planned. Maria and her staff’s service was above & beyond!!! So friendly and helpful. It was a perfect location near restaurants, bars, grocery stores and has a awesome coffee shop and bar of it’s own for morning and nighttime. Would highly recommend for family, friends or a business trip.
