We stayed at this hotel with my mother and sister in law for a weekend trip in NYC. The hotel is at a great location, a block from Times Square and a subway ride away from Columbus Circle. There is a subway station about 2 blocks from it (not bad at all). The hotel smelled very nice. It is basic,...

We had a good sized room on the 28th floor with a very comfy king sized bed, small sofa, large tv, electric cooktop, microwave, coffee maker, kitchen sink, dishwasher, fully stocked kitchen and a full sized refrig/freezer. The bath was a little small but the shower was large and very nice. My favorite part was the view of the city....

First off the Element has nice rooms which come with kitchens (including a dishwasher), the hotel staff is great, and the location its location is great as well. Unfortunately this is all erased by the fact that this 40 floor hotel has 3 elevators to service the entire building and that is woefully inadequate. My room was on the 11th...

Hotel is very basic - think 2 star. Lots of people waiting for elevators, high school cafeteria for breakfast...but room was quiet, bed was good, same for shower. Good location with an easy walk to the theatre. But it is a motel six level not a westin level, so sleep there and get out. Didn't replace Kleenex, only one large...

Brilliant Location, we had a lovely room on 39th floor. Great view, large very comfortable bed, spotlessly clean, small kitchen including, fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, coffee maker and dishwasher! Modern bathroom with very large shower. Would definitely recommend this hotel, walking distance to Times Square and lots more sights, lots of places to eat. Staff can't do enough for you. Buffet...

Pretty nice place to say. The room is decent, it has a small kitchen which is a plus. You also get complimentary wifi, breakfast and happy hour. The breakfast and happy hour is the same thing everyday, but it's still a nice touch. The location of the hotel is great. Walking distance to Time square, Bryant Park so many places...

Great location, they gave me a nice room near the top with brilliant views. The kitchenette floor was a bit dusty, breakfast not worth bothering with unless you just want a snack, continental and foil wrapped re-heated breakfast rolls. Also the bar was just an evening wind down hour with snacks and drinks rather than a proper hotel bar, but...

Stayed here for just 1 night on business. Convenient location. Good sized room for NYC, and it includes a small refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and microwave. Keep in mind, all of these appliances are very small. A great extended-stay convenience, but don't plan to host a holiday dinner. Bathroom was good sized. My room had shower only. Bedding and linens were...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
