For the past four years my girlfriend and I have stayed at the Pearl Hotel for a ladies weekend of theatre, museums and restaurants. This hotel is in a class by itself. The hotel staff -- bellman (Manual and Morad) and front desk staff (Vanie and Christian) -- immediately recognized us when we entered the hotel and thanked us for...

This hotel rises above the rest! I reserved our room by phone with Christian. He was very pleasant and made the process very easy. He's very personable on the phone and it was a pleasure booking through him. The hotel called (Charlotte) the day prior to confirm our reservation and arrival information. We were to arrive by Amtrak to Penn...

In the mid-theater district, the Pearl Hotel has a friendly staff, quiet rooms, comfortable beds, and more! There is an ample free continental breakfast, free NY Times, and a complimentary wine-and-cheese hour. The bathroom is well lit and the shower easy to use. When I left a book in the room after checkout, the hotel called me in Dallas to...

We came in from the suburbs for a nice dinner and theater experience, so stayed at the Pearl. It was very convenient--literally directly across from the Eugene O'Neill Theater. We arrived Saturday afternoon, in time for the wine and cheese reception on the 2d floor common area, which was very nice. The welcome was efficient, the room well-appointed (don't expect...

Our family of 4 (including 2 tween girls) spent a single night at the Pearl. Our room (2 queen beds) was spacious for NY and had high-end bathroom with shower and tub. Fantastic location and surprising quiet. The staff was friend and helpful. Nice continental breakfast was included

I've reviewed this hotel a few times. Had not been here for a few years and I'm happy to report that the hotel is better than ever...clean, comfortable, great location with all the amenities. This time, we not only enjoyed the wine happy hour after our matinee, but also found they had sent us a bottle of wine when I...

Forget the pretense (and price) of New York City's grand palace hotels and stay in this small gem of a place. Here are 4 reasons why: 1. Location - Only blocks from all Broadway theaters (a few are mere steps away.) Times Square, Rockefeller Center and Central Park are easy, casual strolls from the front door. Walking in NYC is...

The pearl hotel has great customer service. The rooms are large and the bathrooms and showers some of the biggest I've seen for a boutique hotel in the city. Very comfortable beds and quiet considering how close it is to Times Square and the Theater district. This hotel is directly across from The Book of Mormon. There was a TV...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
