Nyc can do better. This place is dirty. The rooms are very small. The quarters in the hotel are loud. But the bar scene downstairs is great. There are better hotels to choose in the Big Apple. I would never bring my family here.

if you want to go to NYC on a budget, you usually end up paying top dollar for a subpar room! for about the same price you can get an amazing room, with free WIFI, LED TV in the center of it all! we loved the hotel. super comfy bed, very clean, windows that open. There is a great food court...

If you wanna be in the middle of everything and convenience is key, this is where you'd stay! It's a busy hotel as would be expected. I think the rooms can do with a bit of maintainence for good up keep.

I booked this hotel back in September for travel in December. I booked a pre-pay, non-refundable reservation. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that the room we booked and paid for was not available because it had been sold out. We were offered a room for 3 people with a king bed. After we declined that room...

The hotel location is excellent. The room was small but adequate for its location. The $28 per night charge for what shoukd be included in room price made me irate as tgat $28 extra per night would have made me chose a different hotel elsewhere. Even the front desk struggled to justify the reasoning for it.

We paid for an upgrade which was not worth it. When we arrived, our bathroom was missing a shower curtain. Our first morning there, we were unable to take a shower to due plumbing problems. Our bathroom sink and bathtub were always clogged and for our entire stay (3 nights) we never had hot water. Not impressed.

Would not choose the ROW next time and cannot recommand it. Freezing becaus of the untight window. Using the heat gets to hot and it's too loud. Very small beds and very unfriendly, arrogant staff (woman) at the desk. Not supportable at all.

We really love the location and the staff has always been very helpful. The hotel is old but remodeled nicely. Close to theaters and many great restaurants. Time square is two blocks away as well as shopping on 5th avenue. Close to subway lines.

I used to LOVE The Row. My last experience, however, was not a positive one simply because of the service I received. I did not see one employee smile. The only employee who was helpful was the valet.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. There is a certain expectation at a 4 star this did not meet. The room is so small we could barely walk around. The size of the bathroom not much better and shower was so weak and the hot water took a long time coming on and then barely hot. Very loud AC made...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
