I was surprised at christmas 2013 with a trip to New York and this AMAZING hotel for St Patricks Day March 2014. It was the BEST HOLIDAY i ever had! I loved every moment of it. I Emailed the hotel prior to arrival asking if we could have a room overlooking the Empire State Building and they granted me that.... More

Located within a walking distance (15 minutes) to the UN headquarters. Rooms decorated in dark/red colours (quite romantic) but not especially good lighting. Comfortable bed. Free, well functioning internet. Bathroom with toilet and bath (shower in the bath). The building is old (no double glass) so quite noisy. No breakfast facilities but plenty places around.

Nice location! Few blocks way from the Grand Central, Time Square and Empire State Building. Perfect for a shopping tour on the 5th Ave. We didn't have breakfast, but there is an very good bagel-shop just two minutes away :-)

I stayed only for one night, which was probably my worst night in a hotel ever. I chose this place after having read many positive reviews and seen a great score on booking.com. When I arrived, I didn't feel like being in a 4 star hotel. Staff was not very professional, but actually okay. However, when I entered my room,... More

The hotel was kept up, clean and safe. The hotel is located right around the corner from grand central station. We were able to jump on the subway and go anywhere. Room was comfortable and clean. The air conditioning however did go on and off throughout the night but that was the only thing that could have been better. We... More

The price was not as for that time of year (Dec) had a good view of the street since I had a corner room. The only downside to things is the traffic is ridiculous during the day so forget about taking a cab ( or driving) and its a bit of a walk to Empire State Building and Macy's. The... More

We stayed in the court for 10 nights in sept 2014- the hotel was very quiet and the staff very friendly! It was close to a lot of attractions. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurants food was top class! The only fault that I have is the wifi kept turning off and the lift had broken 3 times... More

Tried to charge me for smoking in the room I am staunchly opposed to smoking of any kind.Tried to resolve this matter with the manager who proceeded to tell me his staff had photographic proof.I told him to e-mail the photos, and magically they disappeared. We are talking about. 500 dollars. They are THIEVES.

This place is a great find--perfect location (what's not a perfect location in Manhattan), large and tasteful rooms, super comfortable bed, and friendly front desk staff. No complaints whatsoever. The fitness center next door at the sister property is also above average. Can't go wrong.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
