The best thing about this place was its location. The quiet lower Manhattan is not only peaceful for stay, but also provides great views over the Hudson river. The subway and Ferry piers are very close. Staff is very well-trained and I had no complaints during 1 month of my stay here. The interiors are well-designed.

Thank you for sharing feedback on your fall stay with us. We are so glad that you chose to spend your extended visit to NYC with us. Wonderful that we could be a home away from home for you. Hoping we can welcome you back soon. Best, Robert H. Rechtermann

Overall, the hotel interior is attractive and decorated nicely. The location for the hotel is convenient, within a few blocks of subway and easy to have a car pickup also as it is away from very touristy parts of NYC. Nice evening can be spent walking around the water along with nearby restaurants and shopping. Room met expectations of a...

Awesome hotel. I like it because it's quieter lower Manhattan. Very well trained staff. For the price you get exactly what you expect. Wish subway was a little closer, but that is everything near Brooks place.

Think of it as the Miami Beach of Manhattan--on the water; great views; sailboats; boardwalk; luxury shopping. A little bit of a hike to midtown; but worth the peace and quiet. Suites are fabulous; great finishes and an extraordinary amount of room for the city.

This hotel is one of the best. We spent a weekend with them and they went out of their way to make our stay relaxing and memorable. Mehdi, the restaurant/bar manager, Paolo at the front desk, Antonetta, our server at the rooftop bar (seriously, visit this place! and leave her a good tip b/c she's great!) and then Viktor and...

The Conead New York is a great address in downtown Manhattan. It is so different from the typical New York style, as it is new, airy and unrushed. The lobby is a piece of art in itself, the rooms are very large to NY standards, with an unusal room lay-out, and a separate shower, and all amenities that one would...

This hotel is nicely located, very close to the metro, maybe 10 minute walk max. The hotel itself is really beautiful, the art exposed at the entrance very intriguing and stunning at the same time. Rooms definitely comfortable, I was a bit surprised that there was no bathtub (even though I dont really care about it) but even the shower...

We took a two day trip to New York in August 2016 and stayed at the Conrad New York. It was by surprise that we stayed at the Conrad New York because about seven years prior, I made reservations to stay at the Embassy Suites New York, which is at the same address. When I tried to make reservations for...

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
