Elevate your cool factor a bit with this refreshing hotel. From the front door to the room door, this hotel is fantastic. Greeted with a hot towel and a cold glass of pink champagne, the fine folks at reception are warm, friendly and thankful to have you as a guest. I have stayed at the Roxy for a week in November. This hotel is based at the heart of Tribeca, right next to the famous Ghost Busters fire station. The hotel's decor is all Retro which somehow has a charm fitting Tribeca's feel. As I was on a work trip, other than early clients dinners, i was back in the... More

The brunch at Roxy is a slice of heaven. It is served in the hotel atrium where you can make yourself at home on one of the cozy leather sofas. Bradley, our server was so charming and attentive. The Roxy Hotel has lots of personality; live jazz every night in the Roxy Lounge, striking design with a huge internal space the full height of the building and rooms around the periphery; elevators slow but fitting for the period (and there are only 8 floors). Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
