Great hotel, clean but very outdated. Many of the fixtures and fitting are quite old, which gives a very used feeling but the room was clean with good shower facilities. Very central to all attractions and is directly opposite Madison Square Garden. Reception staff are helpful, though at times due to the size of the hotel, can be very busy.

Once again was impressed by the prompt and great service by the staff of hotel Pennsylvanian especially the crew desk and the housekeeping . The location is probably one of the best and the access to eating joints and shopping makes it even better.

I read reviews and seeing the complaints about this hotel. Frankly, I enjoyed the stay myself. The staff is very polite. Once again, Christina is awesome! She makes everyone feel that they are special or they matter. The location is great! I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

There were 20 people at check in, but the line moved quickly. If you drive, they have a lot that is reasonably priced right around the corner where you can leave your car. The rooms were old, the bathtub had some red stains near the drain, I don't even want to know what that was. The carpet was torn. I'm...

It was clean enough, but looked very run down. The shower fixture came out of the wall rending the shower/tub useless. We complained at the front desk, and they said they could not offer a discount or refund because we didn't file the complaint from the phone in the room. It had just happened within the same hour as checkout....

From the time we came into this hotel we knew something is wrong, we seen drunk guy vomiting himself lying on the floor and begging for help, but no one from staff seemed to be bothered. We were waiting in queue around 3 hours just to check in into room. (We prepaid this hotel in advance stayed 3 days paid...

No doona, a sub standard shower and bathroom and rock hard beds however the price is hard to beat. An awesome location directly opposite Penn station and near a lot of restaurants but I would definitely not recommend if you are looking for luxury of any kind. They will let you check in early for a fee or will hold...

Advertised at £72 per room per night, and clearly told $120 inclusive of taxes on check-in, the final charge was $635 per room for 4 nights. This seemed a considerable hike but they wouldn't budge and we had a train to catch so we had to pay. Would have been annoying in any case, but particularly so as we'd had...

I stayed last summer, it was the worst hotel I'd ever stayed in midtown, big lines at the reception, rude staff, super old facilities, stinky, bed linen never been replaced since the opening I guess, windows with so much dirt one hardly can see through them, shower broken and can't even fitted my size (I'm around 5.6') I had to...
