This was our 2nd time staying that The Muse Hotel. It has a great location, close to the theater district.. The room had a nice king bed, and the amenities were also good, However, the toilet would not flush until we called for a repair. The check-out time is noon (a nice feature), but at 8:30 AM, housekeeping knocked on...

Stayed here for 5 nights during our city trip. It is a great hotel, with an awesome location. We had a room on the 7th floor facing the inner yard, which was a bit noisy but not that big of a problem. We had a great checkin and checkout. The only thing that wasn't so cool was the fact they...

This was a great small hotel with great rooms and service. There is an attached restaurant/bar which we only briefly used. Wine hour nightly (but alas we were never there because we were eating/Broadwaying). Would stay here again - We stayed in a roomy Executive Suite.

After a derailed Amtrak train left my arrival in New York severely delayed and my nerves deeply frazzled, it was up to the check-in attendant at the Muse Hotel to turn the day around. She was excellent and did not disappoint, setting the tone for a weekend getaway in which the Muse played the part of sanctuary and respite in...

Really enjoyed my first stay here. I used to stay at the Waldorf on business and have been looking for a new option since I'm in NYC on a regular basis. The staff here is incredibly friendly, and there's free wine at happy hour. Room size is good for NYC, and location is generally convenient. I liked it much more...

We came to New York City to see "Hello Dolly" with Bette Midler and stayed at the Kimpton Muse Hotel. We found the staff to be very efficient and personable. Everyone made us feel right at home, even if it was only for the one night. The rooms were well appointed and decorated quite nicely. The king-sized bed was comfortable...

We booked this hotel through a Virgin Atlantic package and couldn't be more pleased with our choice. We had a double Queen bedded room for ourselves and 2 teenagers for 6 nights. It was spacious enough for the four of us with incredibly comfy beds. The location was perfect, a minute from the madness of Times Sq, yet in a...

Friendly staff, clean hotel, cool happy hour, but we were on the third floor and could hear traffic all night long. When we checked in, we were told we were getting upgraded to a higher floor which was nice because we didn't even ask but we ended up on the 3rd floor so clearly there was no upgrade. Better to...

Such a helpful staff makes the stay in NYC so much easier! Dan and Daniel the concierges were so helpful with all the restaurant choices since there are so many wonderful places to dine nearby it is hard to choose. They even greeted me by name as we arrived! Favorite's nearby were Danji and Becco. The rooms were very tastefully...

Kimpton Muse was great to stay. Now expect time square prices, but aside from that staff were friendly and helpful. The nice lady running the nightly (yep nightly) wine reception, CeCe was so personable, friendly and helpful. The accomodations were very nice as clean. Upscale and up to date. I am already a Kimpton property fan but this just added...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
