Just what I was looking for...a well located hotel, close good shopping, museums, nice restaurants and still quiet and relaxing. Having the Bryant Park just in front of the door makes the place special as it is always an invitation for a shot walk, grabbing some coffee or waffles in one of the charming spots within the park...or just sitting...

The staff always remembers my name. They know what I want in the room. They do their jobs and keep the rooms clean. It has great access to Midtown, Broadway and more. The Cellar Bar has a great bartender name Tashi. Go visit.

Pros: Good location, friendly staff, rather spacious room, lively bar. Cons: When booking room including breakfast you are not allowed to have it at the lobby's cafe-restaurant, you must have it in the room (absurd); in room furniture is cheap; no armchair only two uncomfortable chairs, no proper desk to do some work only a low sitting cheap table. Come...

A perfect location for a theater weekend just far enough from Times Square. Hotel staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Terrific room amenities such as Moulton Brown bath products, comfy bathrobes and a great minibar treats. The guest happy hour gets bonus points.

I loved my stay there. Everything was very clean. We had an excellent view especially since it was the holiday season. The shower was one of the best in a hotel ever. I would definitely stay there again.

Bryant Park Hotel has a fantastic location and a friendly staff. I had a last minute event to attend in the city on a December weekend (always peak season in NYC) and ended up with a pretty dark room on a lower floor with a not-so-scenic view of a brick wall thirty feet away, but otherwise the room was nice...

Nothing special about this place, great bar but that's about it. In a great location in midtown but nothing more. I'd keep looking if I were you. Overpriced and not worth the stay. In front of the Bryant park and by 42 street.

I had a wonderful experience at The Bryant Park Hotel. We needed a hotel for Sunday evening in March. I know the reputation is very good but as a guest , it was sensational. My 13 year old ( who loves a good hotel ) was in awe of the friendly staff, cool red elevators with great music and an...

Fabulous location across from the park and library. Convenient to subways, broadway, shopping, times square and restaurants. Rooms are small but quiet & clean. Bathrooms are large with shower and tub. Our shower lacked water pressure and took a while for hot water. Bed was firm with good pillows. Service was outstanding. Staff really hustles.

Thank you for your review and wonderful praises. I am sorry to hear about the water pressure, I am not sure how long ago you stayed with us but recently we upgraded our piping system. I am confident that you won't experience the same issue on your next visit. Thank you for recognizing our Housekeeping Department, they really do a...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
