Conveniently located in Midtown, my Clarion single room was New York small, but adequate for my needs, clean, with a comfy bed. The hot breakfast was surprisingly good and the staff outstanding. When my flight was cancelled after a noon checkout, they and the manager gave me a fair rate for another room until my early morning rebooked flight. Thank...

This is a great little hotel. I had a single room, and although it was amall, it was nice. Very clean, comfortable bed, away from the street so very quiet. The hotel is an old building but nicely re done. The hallways are narrow but cheerful with lots of light (dingy hallways give me the creeps.) Bathroom was recently renovated...

Our room was tiny, slightly shabby but clean. The windows opened which was terrific, the bed a bit small and soft but good pillows. The staff was lovely, our fellow travelers were pretty noisy. The croissants at breakfast were quite a surprise, tiny like our room but top notch. For the price overall a little better than expected.

I was so very happy when we checked in at midnight and was greeted warmly by the night auditor ( I am pretty sure her name was Lilly) . The check in was fast , efficient and she was so friendly and informative. The morning staff was helpful also with giving us directions around. It was a well maintained hotel...

My first time to NYC, I had no idea where to stay or not to. Everything "looks" close, but one really never knows. The staff at this hotel is very accommodating and nice. I went up to my room and was seriously taken aback by how small it was. I am not used to tiny rooms, that is just part...

Although the staff were accommodating, which in New York is a plus, this couldn't compensate for our small room that badly needed to be refurbished. The location is a plus and the WiFi was good. No return visit for us.

Did Clarion forget to mention on their website that this is now being used as a NYC social service emergency shelter? Its not a guest driven hotel -its a welfare hotel. I want everyone to have a home- but this isnt a home... its a pretty small room in midtown Manhattan.

Comfortable hotel, good location and fine breakfast. Clean room, (if small) but furnishings are worn and should be replaced. Staff pleasant and helpful. Room prices are less outrageous than other hotels in the area. This is New York City in September after all.
