very noisy, too few toilets, caution while the evening program, the people have often no clue where they are going with you, so often is the evening for waste, and that sucks. The showers are very small, you have no kitchen,

Great staff, the staff were very accommodating. Alex, linda, and Bonnie were all very friendly in making sure I had a great stay and felt comfortable /welcomed. The hostel is also very close to the 103d st. Subway station, which was very convenient as well.

This hostel has a worker dedicated solely to creating a good social environment in the hostel. He hosts about 3 events a week including Pub Crawls, rooftop bars, clubbing nights, and even cool daytime activities like going to a live recording of the Late Show (would love more daytime events like this). When we get to these places, the bouncers...

The place has good bedrooms and awful, horrible. restrooms. The common area is nothing special and you only get WIFI in the common area (really bad). I can say I have a good sleep. However, they want to rip you off for saving your luggage a couple of hours. Not even big heavy bags, they charge you money for a...

The kitchen has no stove, so you can't prepare anything hot unless you're reheating. The staff gave a guest that had previously stayed in our room a key to look for his missing shoes after we had checked in - they told him to knock, so he just let himself into our room after he knocked. The luggage is not...

I have stayed in this hostel for 5 days. The location is perfect, beside to the Central Park and next to two subway station. The room is good, with comfortable beds. The bathrooms are shared and there is a shared kitchen where you can warm your meal. The reception is amazing, especially about Alex, who take the guests to the...

Had a great time here. It is a little bit far from the main attractions but good vibes. We had the opportunity to go to a TV show on our first day, that's when we met Alex who made sure we get to smile all the time, cheers mate. The hostel has many activities and the staff is friendly, I...

Nothing wrong with the hostel, and definitely fine if you are looking for a low-budget accommodation in Manhattan (New York City). The hostel is located uptown ten minutes' walk from the closest undeground station and literally two minutes by foot from Central Park. Overall, good position to explore the city. The hostel is very basic. Wi-Fi is available only in...

Stayed here with my friend when we went to New York, stayed in a 4 bed dorm, with another girl, was OK for couple of hours sleep. Very basic, but no point spending too much on accommodation in New York as you are out most of the day. Basic breakfast, but option of burgers and sandwiches through the day. To...

We stayed here 2 nights in July, it was terrible. We choose Jazz on the Park because my boyfriend had stayed there in 2007 and had the time of his life, I've been listening to stories of an amazing hostel, with the best atmosphere ever since. Unfortunately this experience showed us why they say you should 'never go back'. The...
