Great balanced location, close enough to key touristic places but far enough to be not too busy/hectic. Next to a metro station and one or two blocks from other metro stations. Room and bathroom size is good, people at the reception and entrance are very professional and kind.
A friend and I stayed at the Quin for three nights this week and found the room to be upscale and exceptionally clean, the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful, and the location to be outstanding. Having been recently renovated, the room had all the latest amenities including charging stations, a very modern phone/clock radio, a large tv, a rainforest shower head, a clothes steamer, and a very cold refrigerator. The only other thing we would have liked is a small microwave to warm our breakfast to go with the excellent Nespresso coffee in the room. All of the staff were very welcoming and friendly. They currently don’t have a concierge but both Amella at the front desk and the doorman whose name I didn’t get were very helpful in giving us restaurant recommendations in the area. The location on 6th Ave. and 57th St. was great, close to Central Park, Carnegie Hall (of course, not currently open due to COVID), many restaurants, a Walgreens and a grocery store across the street, and easy walking distance to MOMA, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, the Metropolitan Art Museum, etc. And a real plus was the subway station probably not even 50 yards from the front door, with another subway line a couple of blocks away. If you are not a Hilton Grand Vacations member, you might consider the Quin a little pricey, but not out of line compared to similar hotels in NYC.…
Arrived at the hotel around 645 am. I had called ahead and knew that they would be able to hold my luggage. I went in with the intention of just leaving my suitcases and then coming back later to check in, however, they were able to accommodate me! They had a room ready and I’m so thankful to the front desk for checking. The room was a good size for NYC and the price point. Super close to the train and Central Park. Friendly staff when you come in. I thought the AC wasn’t working so I called and right away they sent someone (it just takes a little while to fully blast air). They were also able to accommodate a late check out at 12pm. I left my bags with them while I explored the city some more and came back around 5 pm and was able to retrieve my luggage with no issues. Overall great experience with The Quinn.…
Just two blocks from Central Park , the location is superb. However, staff was distinctly transactional and disinterested at check in. Rooms were decent size for the city though at 450USD + , one expected more than the bare minimum amenities .Street noise at night was higher than one would expect at a premium hotel
The staff was all fantastic. They were all extremely nice and helpful. The location is fantastic right across from Central Park, and right next to the Subway line that goes through Manhattan. The room was well maintained, nice, and spacious, especially for NYC. The only issue, a minor one, was parking. It was difficult to find the parking garage, and the staff didnt have any map, give anything of what it was called, etc. It would be helpful if they had a handout that had all the information on it.
Boutique style hotel 2 blocks to central park, 1 block to 5th avenue. Never feels overcrowded with a classy lobby and great staff! My room on the 7th floor, streetside, was quiet, well furnished and had excellent bedding. No breakfast, no restaurant onsite. I absolutly recommend this hotel, compared to the many shabby overcrowded tourist traps in midtown.
It was overall a great experience! I enjoyed the location, close to the park, It was my first time staying here. The facility was clean, staff was courteous and helpful. Great hotel for a family stay or long weekend in the city.
Hotel was fantastic. Rooms were large and thoughtfully designed. Staff was pleasant and engaging. Location was great just one block away from Central Park. Only issue was they didn’t have any sort of onsite bar/restaurant or rooftop, which would have been a nice touch, overall very clean hotel. One of the best I’ve stayed at in NYC.
The Quin is a landmarked historic hotel in the Beaux-Arts style located two blocks south of Central Park, on the corner of 6th Ave. and 57th St. It is in easy walking distance of Lincoln Center (home to world-class opera, symphonic music, ballet, and theatre), the Rose Theatre (jazz), MoMA, and Radio City Music Hall (among many other interesting attractions and fabulous restaurants. Of course, New York is a big city and lots is happening elsewhere. So it's important to note that the Quin has four subway lines on its block and is a 5-minute walk from Columbus Circle--one of the city's main subway hubs. A 5-minute walk in the opposite direction takes you to Madison Ave. where you can catch a bus to the Metropolitan Museum and the Guggenheim. The hotel itself is luxurious and intimate, and the staff is friendly, helpful, and kind. At this time there is no restaurant in the hotel, but there is no scarcity of interesting eating spots nearby. Our room (a Studio Plus) was immaculately clean, with a lovely deep bathtub/shower. We highly recommend this spot for a special occasion!…
As Hilton vacation club members we were excited when new properties opened up in NYC. Usually it was a location hard to get into. When we heard about the Quin, we booked as soon as we could for a long weekend for our anniversary. The property itself is lovely. It has a sort art deco feel but also modern with that NYC flair. The location is great. You are within a 15 minute walk of a lot of city attractions, and there is a subway station right next door. The staff is awesome, the rooms are clean, and the beds comfortable. The rooms aren't super big but its NYC and you will get that with any hotel unless your splurging for like a penthouse. In such a great city though, not sure why you would want to spend that much time in your room anyways. Great place to use to explore this wonderful city and we look forward to staying there again soon!…
