I paid $500 to stay here so I was expecting a hotel that is very clean, up to date and maintained. The lady at the front desk was rude, upon entering the hotel the walls all needed to be repainted, the hotel was not welcoming and did not feel clean. Once we entered our room it, it was small, the...

Dear guests: This is a standard property and the rooms are clean and cozy even without any luxury amenities but we have all the basic ones in the room such as coffee maker, iron and ironing board, hair dryer etc. plus the temper-pedic mattress, an additional add on to our guest's comfortable need. With our variety choices of breakfast, this...

As hotels go in New York I would describe this as Budget and for the price its reasonable. Its close to Times square and the Empire State Building. Its not in the nicest of areas, there is a garage opposite which you can hear noise from at night and also there is noise from the nearby train line. The rooms...

I was there in Sept. 18th for 5 nights.I saw that other people booked closer in time than me and got a better rate by Internet, like Agoda or other of these WEb addresses, like Expedia. I booked 6 months in advance. The hotel has only 1 Elevator. You have to walk from the entrance to 8th AVe to find places...

Dear guests: Rest assured your rates are no higher than others. Everyday rates are different here, therefore it is very difficult to compare the rates. This is a standard property and the rooms are clean and cozy even without any luxury amenities but we have all the basic ones in the room such as coffee maker, iron and ironing board,...

We stayed here for a week whilst visiting NYC. The location was great - about 15 minute walk to Times Square and Penn Station (for airport train). Basic bedroom and bathroom but an adequate size but the shower pressure wasn't great and the tub didn't drain quick enough for the shower. Complimentary breakfast was great for grabbing coffee and a...

Okay where do we start... false advertising to the max!! I do not recommend anyone to this motel not even my worst enemy, what a way to start off our holiday to New York! As we arrive to the hotel we look at one another and think our Uber driver has taken us to the wrong place, it didn't even...

I think the phrase 'you get what you pay for' was created by someone staying somewhere like this, as it's exactly that, comfortable, but basic. Arriving at the front desk their was no 'welcome' just a rather uninterested check in, he wasn't rude, just seemed like he'd rather be doing anything else. The room itself was small, with a few...

For the money this was a great hotel to stay in. The free breakfast had a good selection and was fresh and replenished quickly. The rooms were dated, but really who cares, you don't go to New York to sit in the room. The aircon worked well, so did the shower and the beds were very comfy so for the...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
