Had a really helpful and welcoming chap (Francisco Lima) on check in. He helped me find a nice, quiet room for after a long journey. I like this hotel, which is reasonably priced for the area and has all the amenities I need when traveling here on business.
I brought a group of family and friends to NY for our Central Park wedding and it was perfect. (We booked 7 rooms). My fiancé and I actually live in NYC but we stayed there too for the wedding. Everyone was thrilled. Staff was friendly, they accommodated early check in which was SOOO wonderful. Hotel rooms may seem a little small but they are absolutely the norm for Midtown Manhattan and importantly have coffee, microwave, and FRIDGE (not normal for a hotel at this price point in the area). Proximity to park, trains, and time square all perfectly manageable. Would recommend this spot to anyone traveling through in the future.
Arrived 10pm Monday. Staff pleasant - no offer to help with luggage. Went up to room to find 2 double beds - we had booked a room with king size bed. This was the main reason for this hotel choice. Rang reception - apologised they had forgotten to inform us at checkout they had ‘run out’ of rooms with king beds and seemed to suggest they were doing us a favour by not charging us for a room with 2 double beds - as if this was a better room. Struggle to understand when this is a pre booked requirement and if they knew this before our arrival could have perhaps informed us so we could have made alternative provision. I asked when a room with a king size bed would be available however they didn’t know. Next day - the manager called our room and offered to relocate us in a couple of days - by which point we had unpacked and after a cancelled flight decided we didn’t want to have to pack belongings and move rooms half way through a 5 day trip. The manager did offer us a complimentary breakfast for the following morning. Breakfast was good. Would recommend this. We were in a room right by the elevator so found this to be a little noisy with people coming and going. Amenities in hotel were good and room was nice, big tv, fridge etc. Wasn’t overly impressed with the high charge they hold on your card for incidentals - particularly as we had prepaid our reservation. I had originally booked 4 nights but decided to add an extra night a few weeks prior to our trip - I had emailed the hotel prior to merge the bookings which they said they would do. However on the 4th morning I noticed the incidentals charge dropped off my bank account so was concerned we may return to our room empty I spoke with the front desk to confirm we would be staying in the same room - it was an odd conversation and I was then charged a separate incidental fee for 1 night. I just felt it was all a bit poor customer service wise. The fridge in our room had some issue with ice forming which we didn’t notice until a can of Dr Pepper exploded one day as it had frozen. I noticed what I presume to be free coffee in the lobby one morning but we had never been told about this by staff. To be honest with the amount of choice in Manhattan for hotels I would suggest finding an alternative than this.…
Comfortable hotel. Room was small, but all of them are in NYC. Clean lobby and room, fast elevators, and safe location a few blocks from Times Square and Rockefeller Center. Francisco at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. They extended checkout to 2:30 pm and stored our bags until the evening. Great experience overall.
Francisco at the front desk was amazing! Cheerful, knowledgeable and friendly. He made us a reservation next door, and even remembered my husband’s name the next day. The rooms are small, but it’s NYC, and I’ve been in smaller for sure. We stayed on the 9th floor facing 46th street. It’s noisy, but again not as bad as other places I’ve been. If you’re easily disturbed, then ask for a much higher floor. Trash collection in NYC starts at 4 AM Chazz Palminteri’s next door is fabulous!! I didn’t give it five stars because, first, the beds were just ok, and second, while the walls seemed nice and insulated, you could hear the cleaning staff all day long in the hallway, which isn’t a problem if you’re out all day exploring, but it was also disrupting late at night when neighbors were returning to their rooms. Also, not just this hotel, but I’m saddened that many hotels seem to be putting in showers and removing tubs, after a long day, I really love to soak in a hot tub. I’d definitely stay here again, all the staff was helpful and super friendly. Also, the Gym was great! Pelaton, dumbbells, full cable pulley machine, 4 treadmills, 2 ellipticals and yoga mats.…
Our room was clean and comfy. We had a very nice late lunch in the restaurant. The following morning a complimentary buffet breakfast was offered. The hotel is located close to Times Square, Theatres and restaurants. The staff was very helpful especially Jonai, Francisco and Bilal.
Great location and easy walking distance to The Rock or Central etc. Tube is just around the corner plus Time square. Work was being done on the hotel at the time but this didn’t spoil the stay. The view from this hotel isn’t as good as others but the price was great.
Great all around place Clean 🧽 Location everything you need only a few steps away Price $$$ Amenities room folly stocked Staff helpful knowledgeable pleasant Great Pamela for making our stay memorable GRAZIE 🙏
Lovely room, changed to a twin room at the back of the hotel (no view, no problem) without quibble. The thing that stood out for us was THE STAFF. Each interaction was pleasant, drama-free and professional. Could not give these staff enough praise. Only small problem was the 2nd lift was not working for a couple of days which was fixed when promised. Will highly recommend to friends and family. Thank you!
Fantastic location, and has everything you need. A couple of blocks from Times Square, and literally by 5th Avenue - an awesome location to explore the City from. Stayed for 3 days and only used the Subway to get to and from JFK. Great little bar next door too. Rooms were clean and surprisingly spacious - only thing that let it down was the coffee in the room. Stick to the coffee shop down the road (Matto Espresso). Highly recommend for a stay in NYC.
