I am writing today to express concern of the recent experience at The Out NYC, with hope that the hotel management amend the situation for the following three reasons listed below. First, upon arrival to the Out NYC, a phone call was made to make two spa treatment reservations. The lady who answered the phone was not knowledgeable of the...

I was obsessed with this hotel. I loved the ambience in the lobby, love that there's a bar/restaurant downstairs, and I love the courtyards once you get upstairs. The massage I received at The Spa was SO good and I loved spending time in the hot tub (no one else was there!). The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom...

First and foremost: The Out NYC (formerly The Out Hotel) WAS a gay-owned, gay-catering hotel. It was sold in 2016 to new management and no longer exclusively courts or caters to the LGBT+ community. All that aside, for the premium price the hotel charges, there are better values to be had and better places to stay when in NYC (regardless...

I work with clients in the entertainment industry, and we recently stayed at The Out for a near by concert....We rely heavily on hotel staff to accommodate and assist us with various needs, including privacy and service. Everyone may have different opinions on hotels, how they look, size, theme, etc...but what we all look for in any hotel is service...and...

Friendly staff, large rooms and even larger baths Great location. We checked in to our studio room on the 3rd floor and were amazed at the size. We had a corner view overlooking a courtyard, a large sitting area and desk to work at.

I want to start off by saying the front desk staff here is very nice. That is the only nice thing I have to say. First, on hotels.com the room was a shared room for $159 a night! This place is nothing more than a glorified hostel. Second, I upgraded my rooms for $100 a night to private rooms. Not...

This is a very cute hotel, and we liked many things about it. However, there were too many negatives for a return stay. Our room was very noisy and we heard slamming doors until 3 am, and beginning again before 6 am. The lock design on the room doors creates this problem since guests can't turn the knob and close...

Dear Danny F, Firstly, congratulations on your Honeymoon! I'm terribly sorry that an erroneous mini bar charge affected an otherwise great experience. Please know that this was an honest mistake and something that we would never intentionally do. This has since been corrected and may take up to two weeks to process as you are overseas. If you would like...

I thought I booked a hotel. This was like staying in a train compartment! Bunk beds, not comfortable. And you have to lock your stuff in lockers because you're staying with other people. None of this was explained to me - and a private room goes for $500 to $700 per night. NEVER NEVER AGAIN!

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
