We stayed at "The Hotel at Time Square" on May 26 and May 27. The location of the hotel is great-just a couple blocks from Time Square. The rooms were clean, the beds were fairly comfortable and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Our biggest complaint is regarding the free breakfast. The breakfast host was extremely rude and...

I travel quite frequentely and have to say this is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. It is an extremely old building and not kept up well. I don't know where the pics from the website are from, but they are very misleading. I was scared to touch anything. There were bugs in my room and the...

Dear samsti, Thank you for your review. We’re glad you enjoyed your stay, even though it was so short! We hope you had fun in the city. We’re sorry you did not enjoy the free breakfast in the morning. We are constantly trying to improve and reevaluate what we offer in order to have more variety and better quality. We...

This was a perfect location for our 4 day getaway. Never having been to New York, the location was ideal - really in the center of it all. Staff was friendly, breakfast was descent and rooms were clean. Nothing really to complain about, you are walking distance to major areas, Time Square - The Rock and subway to name a...

We had stayed at this property a number of years ago when it was a Sheraton. Loved the location then, love it now even more as I get older. If you want to be walking distance to at least 4 Broadway theaters, the David Letterman Show, The Carnegie deli, and 6 blocks from Central Park this is a very good...

Location is excellent, right in north side of time square. Really convenient as you can make stops at the hotel during tour day in nyc. The hotel itself is a proper hotel, which means have a nice lobby, 24 hours support by staff and it gives you a feeling of the real deal. Staff was helpfull mostly and came very...

I have to admit it. I was surprised at how great this hotel ended up being! I'm always a little suspect at smaller boutique hotels, and so I was cautiously optimistic when I checked in. I had a group coming in at different times and the reception desk was very accommodating - getting our rooms ready for us by noon....

Comfy beds. Quiet, at least in the back where we were. The hotel bar was a great place to warm up for the evening. Excellent water pressure in the tub/shower. Close to Times Square, the Rockefeller Center. It's nothing fancy or swank yet the hotel is clean and sharp with a great staff to boot. When in New York we...

Stayed for 5 nights , perfect location for sightseeing , just around corner from Times Square , Rockafeller Centre , at least 2 subway stops. Hotel itself basic , room a bit stuffy however we were hardly in it so it didn't matter , staff couldn't have been more helpful , breakfast was basic but enough to keep going to...

Have been looking for a decent hotel in NYC without spending too much, and now I found this one to my satisfaction! It is very well-located (Not AT Times Square but perhaps better as it is on the higher-end 5 Ave vicinity). The room (I am given a larger room No 1002) is comfortable and well-maintained with good house-keeping, free...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
